  1. Yes and yes... but again, this is making the assumption that the devices are IP controlled and that the issue is that the IP addresses have changed. You know what they say about assuming...
  2. Note: Composer HE gives you about 70% of the control your dealer has with Composer Pro. You cannot add devices or change connections but can do most other things with HE.
  3. No, you can purchase Composer HE at a once off cost. Whether or not it will really help you in this instance, I am not sure but it is well worth it in the long run
  4. I have heard of people losing C4 control totally when they change their router and thus needing a dealer to “register” the controller on the new network. From the sound of things, you don’t have this issue so resetting all IP addresses to what they were prior to the change may make things. IF (and that is a big IF - as I am assuming things here, which can be dangerous) the Receiver is IP controlled, you would be able to find the IP address that has been set up in the driver properties in the C4 Composer software.
  5. And other devices that are IP controlled by Control4 now have new IP addresses so C4 can’t locate them anymore. Best to use fixed IP addresses for items C4 controls. Yes, you are going to need a dealer to resolve. Sorry
  6. 4K available in OS3.0 according to the rumors... @Gary Leeds UK may have more juicy clues
  7. And this will be what makes it a success (or not). My money would be on success. I have no doubt that the bright guys at C4 know what success looks like...
  8. Your original code should work if you put the correct alarm code in, the driver has no bugs and the alarm system is properly connected to the C4 system. Probably time to get your dealer in.
  9. You need to have entered the code in the driver properties in Composer in order for the arm command to work.
  10. It is interesting to note that most of C4’s own Experience Buttons have had a facelift (icon change) in the last few weeks which would make sense if a new GUI was coming out... I have mixed views on the new icons and am struggling to see the consistency (which I would expect for a new GUI). Some observations: 1. Some have gone all grey like the abortive icons that appeared when icons could first be changed easily in a Driver (a year or so before Experience Buttons appeared on the scene) - e.g. the Countdown Timer experience button. These are OK at best. 2. Some are grey when off and have some colour when on - I really like these (examples are the flame and pump experience buttons) - I guess that the UI Experience button always was (and still is) an example of this! 3. Some are relatively garish colours all the time (examples include the sprinkler Experience button and the Irrigation program Experience button where I think the changed icon is nowhere near as nice as the previous version ).
  11. Very good point... my answer was cool factor, cool screen savers, works better on really big screens... none of which I particularly cared about but cameras are important!
  12. I’d certainly agree with the recommendation to swap to the IP driver. It is nice and stable these days and gives better functionality (my view). There is a different driver for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV 1 - 3. If you have an Apple TV 4K, you would need the Apple Bridge driver...
  13. I do something similar for my underfloor heating where I use 2 relays, one for the circulation pump and one for the heat pump with a C4 timer to create the 5 minute delay. Works every time.
  14. Simple answer to your simple question is “yes”
  15. Personally, I love C4 but have been disappointed by the lack of new releases in the last couple of years... the last real release was Intercom Anywhere (around 18 months ago or 30 months ago?). As a consequence, I am very excited to hear about 3.0 or any other rumors that imply something new and exciting is coming so will keep reading this thread with interest and hope, even if it all ends up being wrong . So feel free to pass on any ITK info you all have! I am listening
  16. I’m basing my primary comment “it is a pity” on the fact that I still have 1 (maybe 2) HC250 in my main main project (and 2 EA5s, 2 HC800s and loads of EA1s). I.e. this is a selfish opinion! My secondary (less selfish) comment that most HC800 (Director) project’s will have HC250’s in them is based on the fact that the HC800 was released at around the same time (circa 2012) and thus projects from that era tended to have HC800s as the Director and HC250s as secondary controllers in the same way as current projects have EA5s (or EA3s) as the director and EA1s (or EA3s) as secondary controllers. A third comment which is a byproduct of the above is that I would find it strange (given the above) to see HC250s not supported but HC800s supported (even partially)... Conjecture is so much fun... I just hope 3.0 really does debut this May (I was expecting to have to wait for CEDIA in August)...
  17. If it is true that you cannot have any HC250s in the project, that would be a pity... I suspect that most HC800 (Director) Project’s have HC250s...
  18. Maybe @RyanE or @Derrick Cain are ITK and can give a date Maybe they can also get someone at C4 to fix the biggest bug on the old IntelliTouch driver which is that the “HasSpa” loses its state on a director reboot and the variable defaults to false which is very irritating... Worth a try - apologies to the 2 of you in advance!
  19. I got the current Pentair Driver from Pentair themselves... but it is a “failed” beta driver and OK at best. I also received the following in an email from Pentair this week: Control4 Pentair recognizes the importance of having a driver for Control4 available as soon as possible. Pentair engaged a home automation software company in 2018 to provide a Control4 driver for IntelliCenter. There were many problems with this driver and it ultimately failed Control4 certification testing. As a result, Control4 decided to create an IntelliCenter driver (which is always the best-case scenario). However, Control4 has not provided a date of availability.
