  1. Most decent SA dealers will have an XML file that they can upload for you to give you all the relevant channel icons. Alternatively you can add them yourself in Media as @msgreenf has already stated.
  2. And ideally, on the goodnight Agent, there should also be a ramp down time for media turning off so that it is not just an abrupt off but can, rather, be a gentle fade.
  3. Would be nice if they would fix the bugs and enhance the Wakeup / Goodnight Agent. The look and feel and potential functionality is much better than the old Wakeup agent but the following really needs to be looked at by C4: 1. When changing things in the Agent in Composer, some settings don’t save / revert to old (or random) numbers. 2. Need this to work on all devices. Reality is that one wants to set these off when one is in bed (via a phone or tablet). 3. Deal with playing music better so that you can choose sources from the navigator. At the moment (other than possibly TVs which I have not tried), it seems like you need to do this via programming rather than via the Wake Up portion of the Agent. 4. Allow one to programmatically kick of the sleep timer (I.e. start sleep timer). Currently one can only execute the end of the timer, not start the timer from programming... so my Alexa programming is now pretty stupid... When i say “Turn on Sleep”, I start a regular timer for 15 minutes and then when it expires, I run the goodnight event... This means that I don’t have control of the timer 5. Ideally it should allow more options for lights (e.g. select multiple lights not just individual lights or all lights) and allow one to select lighting scenes. 6. Allow changes to the wake up time and the length of the sleep timer via programming. Admittedly, items 3 to 5 can be worked around via clever programming. The reality is this is actually a cool Agent but needs a little work to take it to the level that OS3 deserves!
  4. I have been using it since it came out with no serious issues. Back in OS2.9.0 (I think) it didn’t swap icons properly live and you had to move out of the screen and back in to get it to work. This was fixed at some stage (2.9.x) and re-appeared once in the 2.10 suite of operating systems. It works fine in 3.0. I have loads of these icons and find it very useful (e.g. I have a pause/resume I icon on my irrigation screen - currently a fake room that I swipe right for in OS3. When irrigation is running, it shows a pause symbol. If the icon is pressed, the irrigation is paused (programmatically) and the icon changes to a play button.) The only problem that I have seen with this driver is that there is not a driver manager from Blackwire yet (like the Annex4 Link Driver or the Driver Central cloud driver). However, I believe this is coming. Sometimes (impacts some systems - not all, I understand) you need to re-enter the license key for every instance of the driver after a re-boot. That can be a little irritating but still a very worthwhile driver (my view).
  5. They should just work inside C4. However, what they do inside DSC depends a bit on whether they have ever been set up as zones and if so, whether they were set as alarm zones (stay or away) or information only zones...
  6. The Blackwire Emoji Driver is also worth looking as it gives you 100’s of icons and the ability to change the icon programmatically.
  7. I am currently sitting out of the country with a very slow internet connection (and, admittedly, a big project) and the OS3 app just does not get all the devices / experience buttons loaded in all the rooms... even after 15 minutes... Interestingly, if I use the old App (OS2 - as I have not upgraded the system at my Beach house yet) and log in to my Beach house (which has as big a system as my main home), it does not struggle.
  8. Enjoy OS3. It really is cool and worth upgrading.
  9. I expected full page flip functionality to come quite quickly after the Navigation Agent appeared a year or two back. I assume it will appear soon...
  10. Just checked... I have channels on my SR250s and my SR260s on 3.0. When I updated, I did find a couple of things lost their settings... so worth checking settings in MonitorIng and in Media as something may simply have been turned off?
  11. This is quite possibly the difference. My system is EA5 and faster.
  12. I have spent a lot of time tinkering with OS3 and my system over the last few days (as has my dealer who is probably sick of me). My general view is that this is a massive step forward and something great for C4 to build on. I love the ability to show and hide things at will. I also absolutely love the favorite rooms option. This is really practical. It is disappointing that one cannot have a button that goes to any menu of ones choice. I wanted this for basic irrigation control. My workaround was to create a dummy room called irrigation and favorite all the controls to the main page of the room. I then showed my gardener how to swipe from the patio room to the “dummy” irrigation room. The new Media Session is also awesome although I think I need to get rid of my Media Scenes and reprogram some stuff to use this to its full potential. Intercom (and the DS2) seem to be much more stable in this release. Admittedly it is early days! The while UI is much more professional and user friendly. The cynic in me says that we are now (finally) a couple of steps ahead of where we were when we dropped Flash... Favourites are back, thenC4 at the top left gives a different view again... All really cool even if I’d have liked it a year or two back. The biggest miss (and I assume it is coming) is no Apple Music support. To make that worse, the iTunes driver has lost most of its functionality (e.g. no access from a navigator). As a temporary work around, I have programmed my Apple Music playlists to play via the old iTunes driver (on Alexa voice commands and certain button presses) and am using Shairbridge to stream them from my Mac Mini to Control4. Hopefully we get better Apple integration soon. Or the iTunes driver upgraded for OS3 as this was an underrated driver if set up properly. One other pain in the neck is the very limited amount of text per Experience button. All mine were cut off (well over 100 cases so lots of renaming was required). Fortunately I sat with my dealer and we did all of this in a couple of hours... but this is a negative and C4 should look at allowing 2 rows of text at the bottom of the buttons. OS2 dealt with this much better. Hopefully @msgreenf renamer driver works in OS3 or I am going to have my dealer out often as I further clean this up. A few bugs that I noticed: 1. One thermostat does not work properly on iOS although it works fine on the T3 as do all the others on iOS and the T3. The first app bug fix update also did not fix this. 2. The media sessions volume slider is sometimes slow and jerky to respond when multiple rooms are selected. 3. Shairbridge is not working well for me after OS3. It gives static 1 in 5 times that I use it. I reduced my number of Shairbridge drivers from 8 to 7 and this seemed to improve my error rate to around 1 in 10. Still very annoying as I am now using Shairbridge a lot (see above). Any suggestions would be received with gratitude! 4. Probably not a bug but rather a fix that I have had to work around. I used to use my garage (no speakers and no audio end point) to play music to (particularly when using voice control) prior to joining other rooms in and turning off the garage. Essentially this was a dummy audio zone. This stopped working and I had to get my dealer to add an audio end point (a zone on a receiver that I am not using). Now it all works again.
  13. I have a very large project and it is definitely noticeably faster when connecting locally unless a refresh navigators has been done, in which case I think it may be slower... When connecting over the 4G mine appears to be marginally slower... but that may just be the cellular connection at the time.
  14. If you have the round ring (green when unarmed and red when armed) on your security page then your driver uses the new Proxy and “should” work.
  15. We used to hide our door stations so that they could no be called from a Touchscreen... Reason that we did this was because we have 2 T3s outside and if someone accesses the property, they can then intercom call the gate and push the button to open the gate... A crook would, of course, need to know all this to do it... but still not ideal. I think the way we did this was to use the setting “exclude from navigator” on the door stations in Composer. However, this setting no longer seems to do anything (or at least not what I expect it to do). Is this a known bug? Am I missing something? Any suggestions for a workaround? Thanks in advance
  16. Thanks. Still having an issue on 2.10.6 (and I will check on 3.0 now)...
  17. I have it working no problem... and I didn’t do anything special.
  18. I get the feeling Paul has had a busy couple of days as have many other (I am sure!)
  19. I have also noticed lots of little improvements and nice to haves. I do believe that C4 have done a great job with this one!
  20. It just started working (disappeared from the list of problem drivers when you try to update) about 2 hours ago... we didn’t need to do anything... my understanding is that the driver had to be (and was) unblocked on the C4 side. Domosapiens advised me once it was working and it all worked beautifully from there. Midnight here in SA but having had the update done, I have been testing and am massively impressed. The new UI will take some getting used to but everything seems to work (and I have a massive project with most things in it although I have probably only tested 60% of my stuff) and everything is noticeably faster!
  21. And kudos to C4 and Domosapiens... for anyone else with this issue, whatever the original cause, it has now been unblocked and Domosapiens have kept me in the loop with hourly emails, so I can’t complain... Now the upgrade has begun and I should wake up tomorrow to a new system - I hope!
  22. Jealous to hear about everyone’s challenges in OS3! I still can’t update as Domosapiens is still waiting for C4 to unblock their DSC driver... So frustrating!
  23. Thanks... will this automatically update or do we need to get a dealer to do the patch?
