  1. Absolutely loving playing with the TTS driver combined with weather and other drivers. What I am finding a bit weird is that for some drivers I need to use the proxy ID and for others I need to use the Device ID when concatenating into the TTS text. I have no idea why this is. Not am issue (but worth knowing hence this post). One or other always works. There is probably a very good reason for this. It is simply above my pay grade.
  2. The only thing you have to do per device (and it is easy and quick) is to choose favorite rooms for the device.
  3. I had similar experiences on some versions of OS2 but have had absolutely no’s issues on OS3. That said, I am on iOS not Android.
  4. The missing lights, security etc. only refers to TV OSD. It is all there I’m the app. I have found my DS2 and DS2 mini to be absolutely rock solid since upgrading to OS3
  5. I would certainly love this. I have a “Monitoring” room at present which covers some basics...
  6. Yes, Agents is available in HE... so the customizing you want can be done in the UI Agent or (easier) directly on the OSD by pressing and holding any icon on the main screen. Both these options are only available on OS3.
  7. In Monitoring... I think it is the second tab in the right hand half of the screen. The heading is Navigation or some such. You can choose any sub-menu there (watch, listen, security, comfort etc.) and change the order of icons there. In OS3, you can change the order of the main menu items (or delete them) by pressing and holding the icon on the App or Touchscreen.
  8. I store around 30 variables that I then use to reset various things to the appropriate state when running what I call a PowerCutReset macro (which also resets LEDs etc.). I run this macro when the project loads, after certain other strange events (e.g. one phase of electricity going down or spiking but the Director not rebooting) and on a custom button push so that I can bring things back in sync manually if there appears to be an issue. This has worked well for me as if my wife has an issue, the first thing I tell her to do is to press the custom button and times out of 10 it fixes her problem.
  9. Sorry... really! I can’t answer any of your questions except the last one... “ Murphy’s Law”
  10. @chopedogg88 - installing from scratch will be quite a hassle as I have lots of triggers... Is the new driver worth it? Other than no “send discovery” button, what other improvements are there? Also, are you considering writing some sort of conversion wizard (I.e. should I wait?)
  11. I’ll try and remember to take a picture tomorrow... I am using them for a few things, including: 1. There are a few alerts that I am posting to status messages and leaving them visible for a few hours (e.g. The electric fence has been turned off - I leave this message on screen for 12 hours as my gardener sometimes turns it off and this is a good reminder to me to turn it back on). 2. I have an Experience button in my garden room, that if you push it, creates a status message showing the rainfall for the last few days that stays on the screen (all of my T3s) for 5 minutes. 3. I’ve played around with it and have linked one of the buttons on @Shivam Paw ‘s TTS driver to send the text I type in to a Status message that stays on screen for 24 hours... I can then send myself a kind of post it note (from my iPad in bed) and see it the next morning on whichever rT3 I happen to use first... great for short reminders...
  12. I must say, I use the native C4 driver with the solenoids wired in to an IO Extender and I works great.
  13. The second of the attached screenshots is what I see on the T3 when I start typing. The first screenshot is what one should see (and can see by scrolling the screen slightly - which ideally should not be necessary and my wife is not finding the need to scroll intuitive).
  14. I never used the Status Message on OS2. I am sure I tried it once and did not like what it did. On OS3, I find the status message very useful and it displays so nicely on the Touchscreen. I have started using these quite a bit. Would be wonderful if these could also be added to the app.
  15. Another very minor comment. When you have lots of buttons and are typing a message on an iPad it works beautifully, but when you are doing this on a T3, the text box with the message disappears off the top of the screen and you can’t see what you are typing until you hit “done”
  16. @Shivam Paw - two suggestions: 1. It would be nice if when one executes the “clear text” function it clears the text immediately if one is on the execution screen. Currently one needs to back out of the screen and come back in to get the announcement text to clear. I created a “Clear Message” button which works great apart from the need to back out of the screen and come back in in order for the text to clear. 2. It would also be really nice if one could edit the text in the pop-up announcement. The reason I say this is that when I press my “Clear Message” button, I would love to change the pop up message to say something like “Text cleared” rather than “Announcement Executed”. Another nice touch would be the option to skip the pop up message altogether if one so wanted.
  17. Swiping left and choosing view also works on my iPhone
  18. Turning the power off for 30 seconds and then back on always fixes the problem for me...
