  1. You could try deleting the custom button Agent and adding it back... but I suspect that you will then need to redo any programming you have on custom buttons... if you try this, I’d strongly recommend doing a project back up first!
  2. That is weird! Has your dealer had a look? Sounds like the agent may be corrupt.
  3. More seriously though, some of the things I like about the C4 remote’s include: 1. No need to point them at the TV... they just work. 2. You can program the custom buttons (or colour buttons as your SR250s don’t have custom buttons) to do other things (e.g. turn lights off) - I don’t think you have lighting or anything else, so not that useful for you although you could program them to do something with your distributed music (or cameras) and you just might use them occasionally...? 3. They just work... clearly. It in your case with older hardware and the newer Apple TV OS. Personally, I would stay with C4 if I was you and either roll the AppleTV OS back a version or pay the big bucks and then use C4 for a lot more in future... but as someone has already stated, you are asking the question on a relatively biased forum.
  4. Pentair lights are great but link to Control4 is only on off - not colour wheel (at this stage)
  5. @alanchow - love this suite of drivers and use it daily. But, some of these are not working properly in OS3.1. In particular some (e.g. the check box) does not update its status if it is favorited to the main room page. It still works in (for instance) the Comfort menu. The problem appears on T3s but it works fine on an iPad. I have the same issue at my main home and my holiday home and am 99.9% sure that this problem was not there in OS3.0. Other button types (e.g. holiday) work fine.
  6. Are you sure you created a 10 minute timer and not a 5 (or 10) second timer?
  7. I must say... these look impressive!
  8. Have a look in the History Agent and see what it says there. Turn off info and only look at the other 2 event types. I have found the following (again, my case is slightly different to yours): - mine shows up at seemingly random times. - mine shows up in the History Agent (in Composer) as Security/unused/3150/Arm failed or something like that. - today, I realized that the 3150 (which is sometimes 3148 or 3149) is the device ID of partition 4 (or 2 or 3) in my security driver (even though I actually only have 1 active partition). For some reason, the 7 unused partitions are (occasionally doing their own thing). - if I look on my T3 (any of them) these all appear as “arm failed” in history. - if I look on the C4 app on my iPad, these don’t appear... clearly the iPad is more clever and only looks at messages pertaining to a genuine partition. For genuine partition history items, the “Unused” in the History Agent (within Composer) changes to “1 Skynet Place” where “1 Skynet Place” is my address (not really) and the name of my Partition in the Driver. Very weird!
  9. A bit weird. Not dissimilar to my alarm issues (but not fully the same). I have a DSC, so if the issues are related, they are not a driver issue. My problems started when my whole system started to struggle. I am hoping the CA10 will fix everything but am a bit worried that I will install it and all other issues will be fixed but the alarm problems will remain. Certainly hope not! Lots of red herrings - me thinks!
  10. @Gary Leeds UK - as a matter of interest, what make of alarm and what driver?
  11. Reading the specs posted above for the CA10, I see that it can handle 1000’s of devices. On the C4 website, I think that I read that the EA5 can do hundreds of drivers and devices. We did a quick count of drivers on my system today and it was somewhere between 650 and 700. My dealer deleted 20 or 30 driver instances that I don’t use today in the hope that I can limp along for 2 weeks until my CA10 arrives...
  12. There is a new driver (I am 99% sure) in my project... It is called “Remote Hub” and has appeared (I think) in the first room of my project as part of the OS3.1 update. Anyone know what this is?
  13. Thanks... I’ve heard a lot about Kodi and Plex but don’t really know what they do. I need to look into this.
  14. Is there a better way to link Movies into C4 from a NAS?
  15. Yip... Collection Management driver for MyMovies is also no longer working for me (with a Dune).
  16. Interesting! I unplugged the RS232 connection for my alarm and still had the same issues so am (99%) sure that the alarm system, is not the issue.
  17. I have had various issues: 1. Latency issues (as you describe) but only in the last few weeks. 2. Unable to log in using the iOS app. 3. The navigator on the T3s gets all messed up (wall paper disappears, wake and sleep Agent loses the number in the middle, some thermostats lose the number, cursor becomes a circle of death for minutes - not seconds etc.). 4. My security driver started firing off code that happens when a panic is triggered despite the panic not being triggered (at first we thought this driver was the root cause, but it does not seem to be). Etc. .
  18. Yeah... I’ve learned... I have too many controllers in my project and somehow we missed checking this one and, for whatever reason, it must be first in the queue... I don’t really get that part. My poor dealer was convinced ha had checked this remotely... but clearly not!
