Just installed Dish Hopper3 and 4kJoeys. All is working fine for video and control through Leaf 8x8, C4 Triad audio matrix and amps. Have several ways audio comes from tv's in the house and the audio works fine in 2 out of 3 methods: 1. WORKS = 2xTV with sonos arc sounds bars 2. WORKS = 2xTV with AVR hooked up to video matrix 3. Only sound from one speaker in stereo pair = 3 rooms with sound from triad audio matrix and amp, TV has no speakers The rooms with option #3 all work fine for all other sources (video and audio). The Hopper3 and 4k joeys are set up for audio = Dolby YES, sound leveling YES. I have tried connecting the Hopper3/4k Joeys with just HDMI to the video switch (using audio connections from leaf to audio matrix) = no sound at all for #3, Toslink to audio matrix = only one speaker, stereo RCA from hopper to audio matrix = only one speaker. Of note all other sources to these rooms in #3 are fine with normal stereo with video and audio (roku, appleTV, directTV, music etc). Please gurus what is the setting/connection that am I am doing wrong? Thank you!

did you ever figure this out? I only get one channel of sound from all my Dish Hopper3 and 3 joeys...everything else (other sources, speakers, music etc) all come out in stereo from speakers. The hopper3/joeys to AVR gives dolby audio. Dish hopper etc set to dolby YES. I cannot figure out why I only get one channel of sound in the rooms with ceiling speakers and not using tv speakers (those rooms work fine)...any suggestions?? Thanks

double clicking the top key has been used to set the home alarm throughout the house via a macro. Worked fine for years, suddenly no longer works on any keypad. all other buttons and single tap all work. Nothing changed. Programming correct. Alarm connection works fine (lights tun on w motion, when alarm set on panel, led lights change colors on keypads etc). Any ideas?

it is crazy that no one has made a driver to make this easy. Your method is how I did it (Macros for colors I use, then one macro with if/thens to decide what colors should be)

8 zone power, not matrix

The control4 8 zone amp in our system has now failed a third time (all red lights on front). It is hooked to a UPS with line regulation since the first time it happened they said it was due to power fluctuation. This is the third one that has failed and so I am not getting another. What would people recommend for replacement? Any dealers please PM with quotes.Thanks

He is asking is the Apple TYV hooked up to the Matrix or directly to the TV...If it is to the TV C4 has nothing to do with it...if to the matrix, the matrix will dumbdown to the lowest common denominator. So if any of your sources or TV's are not 4K then you will have to zone lock the TV and appleTV to 4k

For me it was always crappy amp. After two failed got triad which also failed. On fourth C4 amp.

New Amp. Happened twice to me and both times needed to be replaced

I have had two of the previous gen C4 Amps and one triad fail in my own house. So I would say their quality control blows. Sucks for something that expensive
