  1. Not your issue, but I have never been able to get the art mode mini driver working with mine. I have to use the programming with the TV commands to get Art Mode to work. It used to be pretty consistent with the programming but I’ve seen it degrade over time. Still more successful than not though.
  2. Funny that I have the driver installed but no license. Was waiting on a new controller before buying the license.
  3. Nice. Just had the updates forced to my remotes. Looking forward to giving some of these a try
  4. I know it’s definitely slowed my roll on planning to buy it. Having previously spent money on a Liftmaster driver that after a few years got shutdown I’d be pissed if I spent money again on another one for it to just get shutdown too.
  5. Is there a process or will there be a process for customers who upgrade their controller to switch the driver to the new controller Mac Address?
  6. Nevermind I found it. Does it work temporarily like a trial so you can see if it works before buying?
  7. @Time2Jet can hook you up
  8. Anything Lutron brand I buy from this guy. paul@hankselectric.net Shades, bridge, picos, audio picos, pico mounts. Saved me a ton of money.
  9. Can you remove the rack ears from the CA-10? And do the network ports bridge so you are getting 2gb speed or are they truly fault tolerance only? Thinking about picking one up.
  10. I just ran burial grade cat 6 for my outdoor stuff and stuff between buildings. I’ve had zero issues with it. Probably 5 years strong so far. For your generator look up a project call Genmon. That what I use to monitor mine and best of all it’s free.
  11. It’s a lot of channels. Like 100 plus. Used to work on the SR260s and of course works on iPad and iPhone. Just not the Halo or Halo Touch. Almost feels like there either isn’t enough memory or the timeout is too short and it gives up on the load too fast but the crashing of the remote leads me more to some sort of memory shortage possibly.
  12. I used channels for my cable provider. Can’t seem to use them with the Halo remotes, touch or on touch. Basically get a communications error. If I try it more than once it crashes the whole remote and reboots it. Anyone else seeing similar stuff? I do my whole available channel list, guessing if I limited it down I’d probably not have any issues, but semi annoying. Works on my phone a tab, but does take a little bit to load.
  13. oh well, I give up. I just switched all 5 timers to use if room power on instead of the specific TV in the room. The majority of the rooms Im linking to the TV of all they have is TV and light control, so room power should work long term too. Tried deleting the timer and recreating it, rebooting the control, tried naming it something completely different. So crazy. Thanks for the thoughts though
  14. It’s on expired timer and not repeating. For now I set it to Room power On as a temporary work around. It’s working but this is super annoying. Yeah this is pretty crazy. I actually have 5 of these types of timers. 2 rooms to an outdoor tv, 2 rooms to this family room tv and 1 room to a different tv. This one timer is the only one having issues.
  15. Ok Im totally stumped with this one. I have a TV that is in a room called Family Room that can be seen from both my sunroom and my kitchen. Im using Pico remotes to control distributed audio in both the sunroom and kitchen, and have logic written to use Room Control driver to cycle through Preset Sources for audio sources on a single button press. On a double button press I have the logic check to see if the Family Room tv is on and if so select that TV as the audio source for the room. As part of my logic Im using Timers. Everything works perfectly in the Sunroom, but I can't get it to work in the Kitchen to select the TV when on. After a bunch of testing I did narrow it down to the condition not evaluating as the Family Room TV is On in the Kitchen timer. If I remove that one condition all the other commands within the condition work. This exact same condition works in the Sunroom Timer. Ive tried deleting all the events in the Kitchen Timer and then recreating the events to see if that would fix it. It didn't. I have not tried creating a whole new timer though. Ill probably try that now while I wait to see if someone else has seen the same thing before. Just super weird the If Family Room->Family Room TV is on evaluates true in the sunroom timer and false in the kitchen timer. Updated: I did try creating a new Timer and still have the same issue. Im totally stumped. I can switch the logic to see if Family Room Room is on vs the TV itself and that condition works. Still confused why the TV condition works in one timer and not the other.
  16. I got it all working now. I actually needed to combine it with another scenario I had with the other thing I was doing. Appreciate the share and the extra info.
  17. I see it now. There is a + option when using a number variable. thanks again.
  18. although I ended up doing something else, I may still go back to this. Can you tell me how you get the button presses to count in the variable? I couldnt seem to figure out how to get it to increment with out doing a set which then its not counting the pushes. Unless Im missinog something which Im sure I am.
  19. It would work, although I’d make sure to get a pull out rack shelf so you aren’t trying to squeeze into the rack with your hands/arms to type. In a more traditional IT type scenario they have rack mount pull out Keyboard/Monitors that fold down like a laptop and will take up like 1U or 2U and then connect to a server mounted in the rack. That would probably be over kill for what you want to do though.
  20. Cool. Thanks. I’m going to play with it.
  21. Have a remote that only recognizes button pushes and release. No double tap or anything like that. id like to make this button a double use button and am trying to figure out a way to do that creatively. Was thinking maybe a timer. Press the button starts a timer. At the end of the timer it completes and action. Say turn off the system. However if you press the button a second time before the timer is complete it will switch inputs instead of turning off the system. I haven’t played around with timers at all, but would something like work/is that possible? Or any other creative thoughts on how I might be able to turn a single button into a dual purpose button.
