Second the Unifi comments... I have UDM Pro in my main house and just changed out a USG for a UDM in a second home. The AP in it was very robust and I got rid of my other AP's in my setup. I still think the UDM Pro is the best value (even our the new UXG Pro referenced above). The UDM lacks SFG+ port and the ability to have a failover secondary WAN.

The edge series is basically dead compared to Unifi. Definitely don't get Edge and get Unifi.

This thing is the cats meow and there isn't a better all in one router for the price on the market. If you really wanna big d*ck it then get the Dream Machine Pro. That's basically the best residential router I know of (I am also a Pakedge/Luxul dealer, the Unifi product is just superior in nearly every regard)

I went through this exercise a couple years ago. I decided on shades with Rollease Acmeda motors. That didn’t limit fabric selections and the Annex4 drivers (free) are quite good.
I would have loved Lutron, but way too expensive for 14 shades.

We DO NOT SUPPORT WiFi, this is made clear to dealers doing the training. This would be the very reason we have not, and will not support WiFi.
The On command doesn't even work over WiFi after the TV is off for a few hours.
I think you need to talk to your dealer and have the driver and TV properly installed.

If it still doesn't work after updating the firmware. You could get a Ruckus and make a WiFi they can connect to.
That would at least make them stable, not sure if your phone would also need to be on the same WiFi.
(Personal opinion, toss the Ubiquiti, get a real network).

When you say “things fall apart” what do you mean?
Are you having the latency issues that some have seen (myself included) with OS3 where commands seem to get backed up and then execute rapidly?

The driver has always had the ability to use the input of the Oppo.
You will see there is bindings for the input and if you bind a device to the input you will then have it as an option under the watch menu.
You only need to hide the matrix portion of the driver.

Keep in mind that you'll be using the same announcement in Control4, and by that I mean the rooms in which the announcement will be played. The actual audio announcement will change depending on the variable, but it'll always play in the rooms you choose in the Announcement's settings. If you want certain announcements to play in specific rooms, you'll need an instance of the driver for every announcement.
I've created a "house status report" announcement. And man, it works like a charm! You can program the driver to give you the status of only devices that require attention. For example, when I trigger the "Good Night Scene" the announcement will tell me which windows are open, but it won't mention the ones that are closed ("One of the kitchen windows is open"). If there's nothing to report, it'll give me a confirmation announcement, a simple "Good Night" confirms everything is closed and locked. Pretty cool! The one thing that sets this driver apart from others is that it uses Amazon Polly which is the most natural sounding TTS engine I've experienced.

I love this driver, wasn't sure about paying for it when my dealer suggested it but it has been great. We use the pop-up messages all the time.
Started with 4 TVs and we liked the features of this driver so much the wife made me upgrade the other 4 TVs in the house to LG.
You know things are worth it when the wife tells you to replace all the TVs in the house to be the same brand.
Loving the LG integration!!!

Most of my TVs still use Harmony remotes. For a few years they are all hub based Harmony remotes so that you don't need LoS (the remote communicates to the hub with RF and the hub blasts out IR or BlueTooth) - but my wife and many other people who use them in our house still point them towards the components.

But to be honest, that's what people are used to. 90%+ of remotes that people use are IR and require LoS. I bet that a lot of C4 users point there remotes at the TV when they use it, thinking that they need LoS.

The driver will have a beta tag on it for a period of time but it has been refined over the last couple months to the point there is no issues and now we are looking at widespread usage and feedback. That said there have not been issues with control for over a month. Coming soon will be the media service portion of the driver which will also be FREE. We have implemented this as a 2 piece driver, with this being the basic communication and the coming driver being the more media related functionality.
