  1. Yes. Check the conditionals for the scheduler in programming in Composer HE.
  2. Wouldn't matter about the other controllers. If you watch the network traffic during an announcement, all devices playing it load the file from the primary controller every time. If composer doesn't work, I believe you can drop the files directly into the announcements folder that is available in the SMB server of the primary controller.
  3. What Windows OS and what Control4 version? If Win 10 and OS3, then you need to make sure Windows 10 has 'insecure guest logons' enabled in the SMB settings. Then make sure the network is set to private. If Win 7, I'd update to Win 10, but as far as connecting with Composer for announcements using SMB, Windows 7 is completely fine.
  4. If the installer set a project password, then it would be that password. The Web UI is only on 2.10 and newer. 2.9.1 and lower have a webpage, but it's not useful.
  5. Ah, that didn't link the exact page I meant. There is a section on configuring optimized roaming.
  6. This may help: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-1/1850_DG/b_Cisco_Aironet_Series_1850_Access_Point_Deployment_Guide.pdf
  7. Ah, that extension should be fine then. I know Composer Pro has a diagnostics window to see usage of the RAM, Disk space, and CPU. Other than that all of the info can be found on the system itself since it runs a version of Linux. I use Putty and connect to mine every once in a while with SSH.
  8. #1, changing the antenna probably was not a good idea, it's designed to use the original antenna and has one alternative (C4's 3 meter extension) #2, not really a diagnostic tool. If it's having issues with other devices and speed, then it's likely the programming causing an issue. You could load up the whole thing on another controller, but performance issues are usually 100% configuration issues with programming.
  9. Is your Denon online and switching inputs correctly with the C4 system? What input on the Denon is the HC800 and which one is the popcorn hour? Do you know if the project also has those connections configured the same way?
  10. The drop would likely be roaming issues. You would need to get a set of APs that handle roaming very well. The WA-2200 and recent firmware for the WK-1/2 should be able to do it. The other solution is to get Ruckus Unleashed or Cisco Meraki
  11. What if you swap the popcorn hour HDMI to this HDMI? Do you know if the popcorn hour is routed in the project to go to the input currently physically hooked to the hc800?
  12. Is the drop while walking around the house between APs or while sitting in a single room?
  13. 3800 sq ft house I would ideally have at least 4-5 APs depending on material between rooms (if concrete, then I would use more). Where are the current APs? Is the broadcast power turned up?
  14. Is that UI the popcorn hour? It looks like a controller that has navigator disabled.
  15. You need a license first, then it should be on your customer.control4.com account/login.
  16. But my Pandora is set up on schedules with programming. I select a station manually every once in a while.
  17. Have you tried logging out and logging in to Pandora again? I use Pandora almost everyday with no issues.
  18. Other than that, make sure any QoS or filtering feature for networks is turned off.
  19. What wireless do you have? I have heard of issues with Luxul WAPs and Control4 even added them to their do not use list.
  20. No, you would need two rooms. You can join their audio depending on the config, but you would have to separate rooms for control of each audio endpoint.
  21. Just saw a new kb posted by Control4 tech support. Win 7 is no longer supported by Control4. It might not be related to your issue, but you may need to upgrade to Windows 10.
  22. I doubt there is. Having to log back in is actually a good security practice even though it may not be convenient.
  23. Should have waited for the iOS beta. First thing to check is you're on the latest. If that's true, then you'll have to wait for an app that supports the higher requirements imposed by iOS 13.
