  1. Try tapping faster or make sure the iPhone is on the latest iOS version. If you press and hold, the menu should popup without starting the song. It may be that you are somehow getting the quick press and the press and hold actions to trigger.
  2. Composer Pro is required in order to ID zigbee devices.
  3. Oh, is that the ExtraVeg driver last updated in 2014? If so, you may have a driver compatibility issue with OS3.
  4. The only supported file types are the ones listed by default in the scanning popup in Composer.
  5. I wonder if there is an issue with the russound driver and the mute state. How long is your announcement file? Does a 5-10 second audio file play the audio at all? (rather than to a muted endpoint)
  6. Every T3 has the option to program a popup, I would use that instead of the announcement agent to show a video popup on the T3s.
  7. What does the announcement do by itself if you have a 15000ms start delay?
  8. That's likely your problem. I would separate the wakeup and the announcement.
  9. I would try the longer delay for the announcement. It sounds like everything is not on when the delay ends. The same thing will occur if you have an AVR and don't have a sufficient start delay. The AVR can be stuck muted. Some AVRs require a 10000 ms delay.
  10. Napster, Deezer, and Tidal all have good native support and programming. I like Amazon Music myself, but it doesn't have the ability to start anything from programming.
  11. Advanced Lighting Scenes are designed solely for Control4 lights (sync scenes) and if you see the commands sent to third party bridges, there will be a lot and they may peg the bridge to where it is slow or nonfunctional. There's a KB and recommendation for all third party lighting systems to use Advanced Lighting scenes with tracking only, no actions, and to use programming on the activate and deactivate for the scene. Some/most 3rd party drivers have ways to send one command to a group/built in scene.
  12. Alright, so what if the 'fix' talked about from C4 does not fix it for UniFi, but does for Pakedge? If Pakedge networks also had the issue. (Mine connects fine on my Pakedge network).
  13. The only ones that get defensive about UniFi are fanboys and those who sell it. Everyone else talks about Cisco, Ruckus, and maybe a few on Araknis and Pakedge. I never hear anything about UniFi.
  14. UniFi is on Control4's do not use list and from what I've read, the new app uses SDDP to find the system on the local network. Chances are high they don't expect it to work on a UniFi network and possibly UniFi doesn't handle SDDP well. Especially if it a mesh setup.
  15. best solution: rewire with fiber. 300ft with splices is a terrible idea.
  16. You would be surprised how much it could be your WiFi. Some systems are slower than others, the ones that are faster tend to have better APs and network backbones.
  17. You'll likely need someone on-site to look at what happened. The remotes pull the time through the zigbee network and from the primary controller (hc800). As possibly a first check, I would make sure the time on the HC800 is correct. Aside from that, having someone troubleshoot on-site would be the next step.
  18. Make sure the HE version matches the controller version.
  19. It could be a ground loop between the source and the amp. There are small plug adapters that lift the ground temporarily.
