Been pinging the Open API team for the last month and we finally got a response back clarifying something. I've got another (hopefully final follow up) email back to them with the last piece of information they needed.

That was much harder than it needed to be..... I could not see the forest of the trees.
I had never made the 'now playing' full screen in the C4 app, I always had song, volume and prev/pause/next buttons showing on the bottom third of the screen.
A simple touch of the cover art and I now see the screen you have posted.

Big facts. Sometimes it's instant. Sometimes huge delay, "that device isn't responding", and boom - the light then turns on. Haha

My response times are still very slow on the native C4 Alexa integration.  I suspect it depends in part where you live.  Would really love to see this fixed as a “…not responding” message following a long wait and followed by the action actually being taken is frustrating!

Thank you that’s great to hear. I don’t have any Hayward equipment yet but can you explain what you mean by “pool chemistry”? Also, what is a SWCG?

It works great for us - totally reliable and stable.  Exposes a lot of settings for pump, heater, light, and aux devices for programming and easy control by most UI interfaces.  Doesn't seem to support pool chemistry stuff though - so doesn't show any info from the SWCG.  Shows pool temp and outside air temp - can access everything on TSs and app (not neeo).  One odd thing is outside temp can't display below zero but that's the only buggy thing I've found.  Otherwise can't recommend enough fantastic integration to have.

Any tips on how to program this logic so I can have feedback in Control4 whee blind are controlled from Lutron keypad?

That sound definitely is not right. You can get your dealer to check the MAC address with SnapOne to see it's eligible for warranty.

That´s a bearing damage of the switch fan as you correctly assumed.

iOS 321.46 is out and at first test everything seems WAY faster. Projects load WAY faster. Under a second now, compared to 3-4 seconds on previous versions. This alone is a huge experience upgrade. Also, switching between rooms, loading component details and controls, all feel much faster.
Props to the mobile app teams for this huge experience update. These things often go overlooked, pushed to the bottom of issue ticket lists, but as the UX debt builds, and performance degrades, it slowly erodes trust with the user. Each little bit counts! So thank you!

A couple of us have been working with Carrier and their dev team to begin development on a driver for Carrier Infinity since about July/Aug. Carrier presently has no internal owner of their Dev platform/API so responses can take a few weeks at a time. The application process to access this SDK is quite thorough and not trivial. 
We are in the final stages of applying and waiting to hear the status of our application to begin development for about a month now.

I have two Carrier Infinity systems with 8 zones. Each system has both gas heat and variable speed heat pumps. If you do not have zones OR variable speed heat pumps, you might be able to get away with the non-infinity thermostat but you will still give up much more than variable speed control. You can find more on this elsewhere in this tread.
Regarding the app, I use it all the time and find it works great. If its not working for you, you might look at your home network for the cause.
I do not have the SAM, but I am thinking about adding it just to test the integration as I would really like to change schedules and temperature profiles via C4. If i do, I will let this forum know how it goes.
@samsmoothjazz please do post the carrier developer’s email here. If its a good email, I will share it with the driver developers on this forum and maybe we can get one of them to reach out to Carrier and collaborate on writing a new C4 driver that works off of the cloud API vs the SAM.

Can anyone comment of the best current integration between infinity and C4? I’ve asked for this is the past and I know that there are very few people with the integration in the first place but I do believe that the integration with the SAM module works to some extent. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Has anything improved with regards to linking the Carrier Infinity system to the C4?

We have tried going "direct" on the AVR and other workarounds. No dice. The AVRs are only used in rooms where there are larger TV's (like a large family room) that is next to a kitchen. The AVRs are needed for surround sound. 
Seems to be such a basic problem and yet there does not seem to be a solution two separate dealers can come up with. How is this possible?

Hi there, I am trying to install a TV zone where sound is powered by an Sony receiver and other bar zones within an open concept space beside it are powered by the C4/Triad system. All components in the rack, and I have a echo effect as they are not synced clearly. I assume there is processing happening in the receiver that is causing this but assume this is a common issue but could not find much on it. Can anyone clarify if this is common or has anyone come up with a solution?
Second to that, I wanted to have the subwoofer from the TV/Receiver also be used when the zone next door is on without the receiver zone being on. Is this possible? Alternatively we could power the sub from the TRIAD amps and have that come on the same time as the TV/Receiver but wasn't sure if there was processing that would be missing going this way?

@ERDrPC did you complete your carrier infinity system integration into C4 with the SAM module? If so, can you update on which features do or do not integrate?
