Running Josh. I purchased from Josh that way it loads in Kiosk mode with the app already loaded after loading credentials. A few folks on a FB forum noted they had issues trying to run Josh app when buying directly thru Ava. As a disclaimer I have switched most items over from C4 to Josh for primary user interface (i.e. prior Josh AVA Touch, iOS app on phone and iPad, and pre-order of Touchscreens). Still keeping C4 for some interfaces I can access, scene-set, and control via josh (i.e. Infratech Heaters) I am not sure of if there are any issues running native apps (I.e. Spotify, Sonos, Apple Music, etc.) directly just using Ava

Picked up 1 so far and it's decent. It is not without some items that need to be addressed but they are aware of namely the fast scrub FF/RW on Apple TV (works fine on Roku). I like the Scene's function a lot as I create and change those a lot in different zones and the visual (GUI) for it is nice. Also like that all controllable devices other than cameras/alarm were functioning and working from the date of receipt versus what had to wait for say shades to work on the Halo. Have put 1 Halo Touch on sale and ordered 2 more of these Cinema Remotes for guest rooms. Will likely sell all Halo's since putting in Ketra lighting to replace C4 lighting in some specific zones and like how the lighting interface works on the their remotes specifically with the color temp, hue and saturation

I have a SolarEdge inverter in my solar system and I collect and display data using the SolarEdge web portal and App plus The PVOutput web page. What does this driver give me? Is it just viewing the energy produced in C4? Or could you trigger events, like turn on my car charger when production > 5kW or something like that?

The intellitouch was a bitch to wire, to many protocol adapters an expensive device to connect the controller to C4, but the IntelliCenter has wifi directed from the box - much easier if you ask me, especially if you never ran cables from the controller for network connectivity. I don't have a very large system, but I do like the Home App vs the ScreenLogic App. It seems more intuitive for simple tasks like turning on the pool lights and changing their colors.

Once you have the c4 module in, power up the lock and then use the keypad, enter your master code then *, then 7* and 1*

Did you go through the Yale app and set the lock in automation mode so it recognizes the zigbee module?

Stupid question here, but I cannot find the Zigbee ID procedure for the Yale Assure 2 lock that uses the Yale app. I thought I remember that there is a setting in the app. Does anyone know what to do on the lock while you have the Zigbee ID window open in composer?

All rokus are compatible. But a fire stick is a totally different product but they work too

You have a suggestion for a good presence sensor for control 4 or RS495 to link on wire same keypad or other vendor system I evaluate to link to CONTROL4 C4-DCIM4. Thanks.

Has anyone ever tried this driver on an A3 Pro Chinese box? I have a customer that has one and needs to control it thru the Control4 system for Video Distribution. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Most POE switches are OVRC compatible. Thats not the same as control4 given technical support to 3rd party advanced configs they would never be able to keep up with. They dont want to walk you through Cisco configs either. Paid Unifi technical support is a result of their growth, profits and heavy site implementation.

I just picked that up as my new router, interesting that Ubiquiti tech support is included now. Is this new, as I thought this was a downfall for Ubiquiti? OverC Pro-Giga hub support document states that the Unfi switch line is supported—why wouldn’t C4 provide support? It was on the unsupported ‘black list’ in the past.

My HC-800 controller blew last May 2023, as I was awaiting a wood flooring replacement before upgrading my equipment. Have been paying for 4sight and have a back-up of my system. Will my account be suspended after May 2024 as I wait for the install? Just renewed 4Sight last month. I’ll look out for the 30 day notice e-mail from Snap.

One possibility is that (unintentional) playing with the favourites/homescreen may have caused it to disappear - your dealer can reset the favourites list back to default to clear this (or if you have ComposerHE, it's under agents, UIcontrol)

Open the hamburger menu (top left). Hold down on the listen icon in this menu and you will have the option to favourite to the room. If listen has disappeared from this menu (unlikely in my opinion) then you have a bigger issue. Call your dealer. He will probably need to fix things in Composer.

The "listen" icon from one of our rooms somehow disappeared and we want to add it back but can't figure out how. Read C4's website on favouriting things but doesn't seem to apply to our situation as none of those options are available. Anyone know how to add the listen icon back to a room?

Interesting comment. I have an IntelliCenter at one home and an IntelliTouch at the other. The C4 integration is slightly better on the IntelliTouch (older system). The Pentair Home App is better than the ScreenLogic App but not that much better unless you have a really large system (more than 8 pumps or a need for more than 10 features that are not physical circuits).
