shag Posted December 19, 2019 Share Posted December 19, 2019 Ok. I presume this means they just disabled root access. Can’t imagine they just disabled authentication altogether. Root access is still available but must be accessed via Composer Pro (instructions are in the release notes). I believe it may be using key authentication for ssh instead of a traditional password. Oddly enough, I had set a password on my lab controller which doesn’t work anymore; the option disappeared entirely. Looks like none of the “known” bugs have been fixed: 1. MyMovies. 2. Access Agent when a CA10 is director 3. Experience buttons sometimes not working when favorited to the room screen. 4. Screensaver photos not all being imported successfully when using the Media tab (may be CA10 only as both my projects have CA10 as director and I moved to a CA10 at almost the same time as moving to 3.1, so can’t be 100% sure of this). Cyknight Posted December 19, 2019 Share Posted December 19, 2019 Off memory here, but I think the selection issue with media players (ie not properly going to the media player after selecting a movie) was fixed - it My Movies was fixed - don't think the Collection Manager (for the MyMovies database) was touched. C4 app and all functionality work just not composer If you have the Epic Systems driver in your project before the update, and then you update to 3.1.1 and then you reboot the controller, you may get this error.
