I have the new (updated) doorbird driver installed by my installer. However due to the issues with doorbird they are not warrantying the install. I know the new driver is supposed to simplify the programming such as call groups and executing the announcement. I'm on OS 2.10.6 Prior the the driver upgrade, I had programmed 4 specific scenarios based on time of delay and manual exclusion of a room by keypad button press. 1. If between 6pm and 7am and Master bedroom is excluded 2. If between 6pm and 7am and master bedroom is NOT excluded 3. If between 7:01am and 5:59pm and Master bedroom is excluded 4. If between 7:01am and 5:59pm and Master bedroom is NOT excluded Can this programming be replicated by V2 of the driver or should I keep my programming as is (see attached)? Is there a maximum number of TS that I can send the DB camera feed to? We want to see the video feed prior to answering the call. I read somewhere that 5 is the max. I would say 75% of the time my TS show a black screen during a DB doorbell press (the doorbird buttons such as answer still show up (less than 50%) but no picture). Is there a processing power issue with my programming? All my TV have an EA1 for OSD. I've programmed a camera jump with audio/video snapshot for the TVs to show a feed from the front door hikvision feed. Again this works less than 50% of the time - we either get a grey processing circle or just a blank screen. One thing I have noticed that if I execute the programming or physically press the doorbell then I don't always get the icons that show up on the TS. If I go into the V2 driver and select simulate doorbell then I alway do. Any ideas??? Help greatly appreciated PS the DB app never fires a push on any of our android or iOS devices. That's another issue

Which displays are those? 4k hdr? Ip control. Are you using JAP or something else? I like the idea of 2 H x 4W as then can have central 2x2 and 4 other flanking shows..sports bar Ive been trying to plan it with a central 75 or 85" set and 4 flanking monitors but cannot get the bezels to link up to have one giant screen.

Cool thanks. I was hoping for something inset into the baseboards or not as obvious. That wouldn't pass the WAF unfortunately. Love the idea though.

Quick aside.... Hayward pool omnilogic driver displays Fahrenheit but I'm in Canada and would like Celsius. What "programming when project loads" is needed.

@alanchow Silly question - I have all my HikVision Cameras (into cisco switch) and HikVision NVR already setup and running. What would this driver provide in this circumstance for a benefit? The live events? Does the driver configure them on the camera side - ie the motion area to detect, where to have the line for line crossing? Is it better to configure these advanced features at the camera itself or the NVR? I'm on 2.10.6 so the push notification of the image won't work (Family doesn't like the 3.0 GUI and Navigator changes). Would be awesome if you were able to combine with that other new IP cam driver that does Facial recognition and license plate recognition. Would love to walk up to my house and have the camera see me and unlock the door. Have my car pull into the driveway and the garage door open.

@RyanE got your auto lock driver installed. one potential bug...if the door is open but I accidentally brush against the Yale keypad then the cylinder fires to lock the door although it's open. I guess there is no way to prevent that?

It magically started working for him. No reboot.

so i guess it's better to use the sonos app itself for a better experience...to jump between playlists or live stream?

Currently have siriusxm on sonos (usa Sirius account but located in Canada so can't use native c4 Sirius as we need the only two stations not available to Canadian Sirius). We have added apple music thru the sonos app. How do I add it as a listen option without having to open the sonos app itself and manually l choosing? Will the add music driver allow me to do so? On 2.10.6 (family doesn't like the look of 3.0)

Remote programmer is getting an unable to install error. My garage doors are already bound to my alarm system and am able to control them. I just wanted the experience buttons for the doors so it's more intuitive for my family to use from a TS. Does he have to unbind them from the iox ? Actually getting the same error for the Auto Door-lock driver as well (all locks already bound to generic door drive and Yale drive. Again, want the nice icon showing status. He was able to install and configure other drivers - Hayward Omni logic for example.

Does this (Relay Garage door controller) work on 2.10.6?

Something happens after I watch 4k60 hdr to plex and roku. I can't watch another file without resetting. So I don't know if it's an issue with HDMI handshake, change in resolution, change in colour spectrum... it just takes away from the WAF.

I have a large JAP system currently. My sources include multiple roku (Netflix, Amazon Prime, crave,...), directv, local cable boxes. I'm currently limited to 4k30 by jap. Whenever I watch one of my backed up 4k60 uhd hdr discs my server has to transcode down to 4k30. Half the time I have to go and fiddle with the roku direct stream options to get it to work. I'm building a new unraid server with a p2000 so transcoding won't be an issue. However, after watching a title I notice that the colours are off in the menu...more red. Then I go to watch another title and it doesn't work. Stuck on 13%. I have to reset the roku. Obviously something is happening with the jap video codec where the plex/roku doesn't reset after the first movie back to default. So I went looking and found https://wyrestorm.com/NHD-600-TX This is HD over ip 10G and I'm already using cat7a and. Cisco 10g switches. This says it can do full 4k60 hdr and atmos. Has anyone used these yet? I wonder how to take the feed and downmix a second audio stream for the matrix... ie when want to watch atmos in one zone but play additional 2 channel audio in the adjoining room. Use something like HD fury vertex 2 https://www.hdfury.com/product/4k-vertex2-18gbps/ to split the output from roku into two streams. I'm stuck thinking about where the avr would go in the chain. I need the roku available on two avr zones and 8 non-avr zones simultaneously. Roku --> vertex --> 1. AVR ---> hdip tx (4k atmos zone) --> 2. HDIP tx (4k 2 channel zones) with audio into matrix (need to down mix atmos to 2 channel) I think this fails as it doesn't include my other avr as a simultaneous feed. Yes, sometimes we have people watching the same roku feed in multiple mixed zones - sometimes both atmos zones and sometimes atmos zone plus 2 channel zone). All TV are 4k60 Although I may just say screw it and wait for HDMI 2.1 HD over IP solutions as I don't want to buy distribution equipment for a third time.

What about a zoned system? I have 8 zones I need to control. In wall temp probes in each zone.

However I'm hoping balun manufacturers will update their tech as these switches would allow 8k uncompressed video and lossless audio over IP. I'm using the TS in the respective room. I manually backspace and delete the text and type the new text.

I also have an issue but it has been there since the driver was installed. When choosing listen I can type a message and it plays in the kitchen. The weather driver announces the weather every morning in the kitchen. However, in all other rooms, I choose listen and type in the message then it either plays over the kitchen speakers or doesn't play in the selected room at all. All other audio sources (sonos, cable boxes,) and audio from watch sources play in their respective rooms with no issue. Any ideas?

Thanks guys. Will pass along to my integrator. The 2019 shield looks good with both atmos and vision (jap can't pass along vision though). We like the direct app launching on roku and since we have two, system is smart to automatically use the other if the first is in use. Can shield be setup this way as well?

I currently have a large JAP setup at home. Sources include 2 x OPPO 203 (1 in rack and 1 local with back fed audio to receiver atmos zone), 2 x roku ultra, 3 x dtv hr24, 2x cable DVR, 1 ext source as needed (ie game system or computer for presentation). Roku is used for plex, prime tv, Netflix. All (9) displays but one are Sony 4k uhd smart tv, other is 80" sharp 1080p non-smart. I have backed up all of my uhd discs using makemkv as hevc uhd 4k hdr. Issues: 1. JAP hdr 30hz mode is not working. The roku boxes which use plex to watch backups will not detect the 4k 30hz hdr. The highest resolution they will display is 4k non-hdr. All of my 4k movies are displaying as white-washed on the screen. This is a known issue with roku and plex. Cannot transcode hdr to sdr. I need to fix jap to output 30hz hdr. Installer is not sure they can get it fixed. Potential fix? My installer told my that I'm the only one using a jap system. Most people are using smart-tv apps for Netflix, roku, plex 4k uhd hdr. This would work for my non 5.1 or atmos zones. None of my tv's currently have hdmi 2.1 eARC for outputting atmos from the tv. My installer suggests using the arc or toslink audio out from the tv back the audio matrix via audio over IP. For my 5.1 and atmos zones I would need to move my 2 roku's from the central rack and mount them behind the TV. I have roku ultra so there is a toslink but that won't do Dolby truehd or atmos. I would need to split the HDMI coming out of the roku using hdfury VERTEX 4K60 4:4:4 600MHZ and back feed the audio to the central rack receivers using Audio over IP box with atmos support. This woukd get me audio for the multi-channel zone but I would also need to get it into the control4 audio matrix so I can share the audio with multiple other non-multi-channel zones. Think party mode with one screen but multiple audio zones. How would I do this? I also lose the ability to have multiple video zones sharing one roku source...think video party mode. However I would still need a partial JAP system for my DTV x3, cable boxes x2 and external source x1. We aren't doing 4k DTV or cable...yet. I feel like: this will be an expensive change; waste of a 20k Jap install; overly complicate things. I just wish JAP, like most of the HD over IP upgraded to provide full 4:4:4 60hz HDR with dual audio output atmos and downsampled. Are there any other suggestions?
