  1. The siren is part of the alarm panel and either works or not. Do you have some sort of programming when alarm enter "alarm state" and trigger a announcement? I thinking the latter and your ringing a db announcement
  2. Maybe a workaround? I have scene button programmed that "arrive" executes most of my daytime/evening scenes. one button/kp button (based on time of day) changes scenes ie. Morning, home, evening. Good night is only activated via button press in the bedroom which starts the next days process again so long as Im home via geofence hope this helps

    Halo Wish List

Thats how I read this, Im thinking custom buttons/labels that would follow the room
  4. amp is a dumb device, just powers the speaker. the matrtix has the logic for control. You could use a UI buttom to join the 2nd room to the 1st. I use motions for music to join other session when you enter the room
  5. SMH ok, so the amp turns room on/off? No, the matrix turns the zone on/off and volume! usually audio end point and audio volume end point are the same device. to control your 2nd zone, create a media scene to make your 2nd zone play together or when> x zone current source changes> If current source is x > set 2nd zone current audio source to x source
  6. your kitchen audio end point should be the matrix not the amp.
  7. my personal system was on 3.3.0 with an 800, lost a rs232 port. Upgraded to Core and used migration wizard to move everything. I dont think I had to rejoin the mess. I rebuilt my whole project shortly after so I cant be 100%
  8. Yes you will need your dealer to add the driver to your project
  9. voice scene driver >make a scene Arm Alarm> discover devices on Alexa. Now make a variable in C4 "arm alarm" boolean> program variable to arm alarm when True.. Go back to your Alexa routine and make Alexa trip the "arm alarm" variable True, which triggers your arm alarm programming. you could also put this in a macro and fire the macro. using a variable you also could use the false to disarm the alarm
  10. how many zones do you have? what is your gear? (control4 4 zone amp, triad matrix/amp. etc.)
  11. at this point doesnt seem like c4 is needed? I have music follow me around the house, at some point all zones will switch to my source except the rooms with "watch device selected"
  12. Is Dante a good application for this? Asking for knowledge of compression, encoding/decoding to digital
  13. not sure when things changed, I didnt program with the delay for a long time and started having issues I think around 3.1.0
  14. 100ms delay between commands? Why is Den command 100% and then Den Open?
  15. C4 doesnt play well like that. Im sure with the path setter driver and programming you can make it work but most of us stay away from ARC, zone 2, CEC as a standard
  16. custom buttons, no.. UI button, yes depending on driver. There's a power UI button that toggles colors just like the RGB light driver
  17. sounds like there is programming on the > when watch device selected. or the room control driver >If watch device.. possible that your using a toggle power command for the AVR? just my 2 cents but a year troubleshooting?
  18. Do you have room control driver? there could be some programming on the When watch device> is true
  19. i use zigbee controllers from amazon, they learn into a hue hub as a hue light would. I have also used Lumilum 120v RGB for DMX applications
  20. untwisting the pairs more then needed makes lining them up more difficult. dont untwist all the wires at once (pair by pair) when you cut the wire back place the cable so that the orange pair is to the left and brown pair to the right. (rotate cable if needed) next take the pair closes to you (green or blue) pull to you. Now start with blue pair untwist, keep in the middle, solid blue to the left. next untwist orange pair, then brown pair. that leaves green pair, untwist and keep green/wht to the left.. Green will split so that blue is in the middle of the green. straighten these 4 wires together.. now add orange (orange white to the left) and then brown (brown solid far right).... pitch and cut, do not let go, slide ice cube over pitched wire and crimp always starts with orange/wht and ends solid brown. solids nvr touch, stripes nvr touch do this way every single time, rarely have an issue.. hope this helps
  21. your programming is at the device level. I program at the room which would look like Room x If current selected device = media player > If play ..... > then mute on, delay, mute off either way works just keep consistent and organized
  22. Same I looked too. Even thought maybe, do they follow the mobile app settings but my mobile app (tile down) and T4(thunbnails) are set opposite of each other
  23. Too freaking funny, today Im setting up emails for my personal system and was wondering why they dont work. Perfect timing!
  24. do you have a sleep macro that you can ramp volume to 0 before turning the room(s) off? I have a Heos project that had this issue and this work around has worked for 3yrs
