  1. You can evaluate the Rachio driver as well on a trial
  2. There is a driver for it on driver central. IF you would like to try it out before purchasing, let me know. https://drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/utility/skydrop/
  3. I can get that driver and have an account with Blackwire.
  4. I can't remember if I updated firmware while on 2.91 or 2.10+ I will lose money on it regardless because of the pains that come along with updating to zigbee pro. PM me.
  5. I have one. Box is rough but it was only opened to update to zigbee pro and current firmware
  6. There seems to be only comments on the UI. What about the new features included for programming with HE? Doesn't anybody like how a line can be edited instead of deleted and re-written? The navigator tab now allows you to change what you can show or hide for many or all the rooms instead of one room at a time. How nice is that? There's also a summary tab (beside properties) at the Room Level. You can now see all your programming related to that room in one place!
  7. You need a dealer to integrate a new or used system. The licence you're asking about is included with the controller. It's actually a "site licence" which gives you a GUI access to your system through the Control4 app on phones, tablets and PC's. This will also require a properly configured network for home automation before starting the Control4 project. Here's a link that explains what's required.
  8. yes sir, for rockers. just one color for a keypad
  9. The On or Off are the LED colors that represent the status of the C4 Lighting device using the properties set in the C4 lighting device. You don't want to use that in programming for this circumstance. Use Led Current for programming, choose color, and associate it with the top and bottom LED color needed for the proper LED status to display on the rocker. eg programming the LED Current for Top to be Black and Bottom to be Blue would simulate the normal default LED status on a C4 switch/dimmer when the light is OFF.
  10. Yes. This is not a Factory Reset. It is a Network Reset.
  11. There is no software needed for that. You can do a network reset of the controller. You can use google to find the instructions or follow this: To reset the controller network settings to the default, follow these steps: 1 Disconnect power to the controller. 2 While pressing and holding the ID button on the back of the controller, power on the controller. 3 Hold the ID button until the Data, Link and Power LEDs are solid blue, then immediately release the button. 4 If during the boot sequence the Caution LED stays orange, press and hold the ID button until the LED blinks blue, and then release it.
  12. Driver development can be competitive so it's not usually an open discussion, unless you want all your ideas to be an open book to other developers. On the dealer forums, sometimes there are custom one way ir or serial drivers that are shared but that's about it. These can be easily created with dealer tools. The advantage of having dealer forum access for you would be the ability to advertise your drivers. Some of the developers have their own dedicated topic and thread so they can advertise and offer support when asked but I don't know if the forum owner is present all that much anymore to be contacted with a request to create another one for a new developer. There's no in depth conversations while a driver is being developed. I can't see why anybody would want to disclose what they're working on until there is a finished product. You would really want to trust who you share beta copies with.
  13. There's volume adjustment on those controllers
  14. If you have ownership of the account associated with this system, then it will be possible for you to change the dealer of record. What this does is enables another dealer to have login access remotely, not just on site, and changes / updates can be made. If you don't have a login access, try to contact your real estate agent, lawyer or previous owner to have the email address and password given to you. You can change the email and password to your preferences. If the previous network equipment was removed, or you installed your own, that may explain why the system is not working or broken. It won't be possible for a dealer to connect remotely either until the primary controller is "network reset". I offer remote programming services, as well as on site. I don't change anything to have a look. Send me a private message if you're able to log into the control4 account associated with this system. I may be able to assist you with the equipment you have if you can send or post pictures.
  15. The fix is usually the correct driver or lock/module purchased directly from Control4.
  16. I'm able to get drivers from them and all the other 3rd party developers. Will install and configure too upon request
  17. I can connect remotely and make changes if needed. I do remote programming
  18. Nobody is being forced to update their system to a version that could possibly obsolete their controller. I'm still a fan of the HC250. You can still have a pretty impressive system on OS 2.91 using HC250's. On a side note, every time Windows announces a new version, I don't get excited.... in fact, the opposite.
  19. There won't be enough tech support available to handle all the calls for HC300 initial set up issues
  20. Keep calm... and Control4 on...
  21. Yes. I believe leaving it blank skips to the next preset
