  1. I could be wrong about this so hopefully one of the dealers who has more experience can weight in to confirm. I saw on your other post you are currently using the Honeywell T6 Pro designed for Multistage Heat & Cool equipment. I would confirm the C4 thermostat is actually compatible with multistage HVAC equipment. I thought I recall from older posts that is a limitation with the C4 thermostat but again I could be wrong.
  2. ok, thanks. Unfortunately it looks like that one requires the Honeywell Home app which is not compatible with the Cingration C4 driver since it needs to use the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort platform. It is clean looking thermostat though..
  3. Which particular Honeywell Thermostat? I have the Honeywell Redlink compatible version with the Cinegration driver installed and it works great in OS3.
  4. I saw their press release on that new product earlier this month and it looks very impressive. It seems like their version of a Just Add Power solution but with more advanced display passthrough capabilities like Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
  5. As mention by @mujtaba.khokhar above did you get a chance to look at Intrinsic's C4 Apple IP Driver? https://www.intrinsicdev.com/downloads/apple-tv-driver-control4/
  6. Ok good! One problem down right? ha! I agree on the duplicates as now that I am paying attention I have seen a couple of others. Hopefully that can be fixed in a future update.
  7. @zaphod That is strange. I think you said you are trying out Tidal so did you have a chance to make sure in Composer under the Tidal properties you set the Enable MQA to "On" as well as set limit quality to "no limit"?
  8. @zaphod I recreated your search using C4 IOS with the most recent update from this week as well as right before and I got something close to yours but slightly different. My IOS search displays the "M" for Masters. It looks like one version is a non-master and then another is the master which is almost what I would have expected for all but not the case. I don't know if I have seen this type of duplication with other searches but I will keep an eye out. I felt like with OS2 you could rotate the orientation of your phone to see more text displayed but OS3 seems to be locked which would help.
  9. Another +1 for Tidal (Hifi). Switched back after I finally upgraded to OS3 so I love the integration and detailed metadata. I have seen this mentioned before from others but if you are not aware you can buy a subscription through Best Buy (as least in the US) for up to 50% off certain yearly plans which is really unbelievable. Supposedly you have to be a new customer but I have read on another forum if you let your plan expire you can then immediately sign up through Best Buy and then still keep all your playlists. I am about to try it next week when my monthly renewal comes up. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/streaming-media-subscriptions/music-streaming-subscriptions/pcmcat1599237773795.c?id=pcmcat1599237773795&qp=brand_facet%3DBrand~TIDAL
  10. @jedigolf You will be in good hands with Mitch! (msgreenf)
  11. I wonder if that load is considered Reverse Phase as the Essential Dimmers can only handle Forward Phase loads? If you have Composer HE it will show you what it is detecting.
  12. @Cyknight I think this is a different question but somewhat related. Is it possible to change the displayed state of the shade icon on the Touchscreen UI & C4 App? My shade icons always display the opposite state of what they are actually in. For example, the icon displays the shades in the down position (when they are physically up) and then when I select the down button the icon shows them up and vice versa.
  13. Yes, its a easy process. In Composer click on the Room you specifically want then Navigator under Properties, Listen Under Experience Menus, then Modify. That will open another window and then select the items you want from the right hand side under "Hidden" to Visible. You can also re-arrange the order while you are in there by moving them up or down. Lastly, click Ok, then under File (upper left hand corner) click Refresh Navigators. You will want to do this for each Room if you want to add it to other places.
  14. Just discovered this tip but thanks for sharing @eggzlot I wouldn't have figured out the needed change to the Keypad button (used toggle) under properties by myself. Now I successfully added this feature for both porch solar screens to simultaneously drop using the a double tap on the porch keypad.
  15. I saw this week AV Pro Edge announced their new AV over IP solution called MX Net. It looks like their version of Just Add Power but with the ability to display HDR10+, HLG & Dolby Vision if that is of interest. Looks pretty impressive but I imagine it is not an inexpensive solution. https://www.avproedge.com/mxnet.html
  16. If you are even remotely interested in doing any programing yourself it is a no brainer for sure. My only regret was not getting it sooner!
  17. I haven't seen it in a while so it seems to be the case. I wish I would have paid better attention to what version of OS it was happening under. That said, I believe you stated you are on OS 3.2.1 so not sure if that would matter. It is annoying when it happens for sure. Hopefully there will be a permanent fix someday or at least you can find an easy temporary fix for when it happens. Now I will know what to look for in Composer HE if it pops back up.
  18. This is really interesting as it describes an issue I used to randomly experience (I also have an EA5). I haven't seen it in a while and it was before I had Composer HE so I didn't have the level of insight into the system but it sounds eerily familiar. I think it was also before I moved to OS 2.10.6 (just finally moved to OS3 last week) but sometimes when I went to stream native audio in the Kitchen (or other rooms) my volume would just show 0 and I wouldn't get any sound. I could change sources but nothing would play with volume. With blind luck I stumbled on something that worked for me and perhaps others could fill in with the reason but I always got it back working by doing the following. I would turn on a source (satellite) connected to my family room through my AV processor and then push that source to join the kitchen (or other rooms). As soon as I did it I would have volume and it would go back to normal. It wouldn't work the other way around but always worked from the family room to the kitchen maybe because of the Marantz pushing the audio back out to the C4 audio matrix and then changing something back in the EA5? Whatever it was, it would fix it.
  19. @dinom so sorry your initial unit was defective as nothing worse than the anticipation of something new only to have it go wrong right out of the box. I had my T4 installed yesterday but had a smooth installation. I went from a 7" Infinity Edge TS to the 10" T4 as well as finally going from OS2 to OS3 so this was a big jump from a physical and software perspective. The physical installation was probably about 5 mins as there was very little work needed since there was some backward compatibility in the IE/T3 backbox. I agree with needing to use the screw to secure it the wall. The magnets are very cool and even impressed the installer as this was the first T4 he had done but I felt better with the screw in place. My T4 feels fairly secure against the wall and I didn't notice any movement but I can see where if that did happen foam stickers or something could help (none were supplied). I have a Chime on order as well so I am looking forward to those working together. The T4 is located in the kitchen so I chose the larger screen with the anticipation of it being easy to see the Chime's camera when somebody rings the doorbell. Like you I got the wife's vote of approval after it was installed. I was worried she was going to complain about the wall aesthetics but surprisingly she liked it and has bought into the idea of how it will be used with the Chime.
  20. Actually make sure all 3 cables are 4K compliant (preferably 18gbps just to be safe). Apple to Denon, Denon to transmitting Balun, and then Receiving Balun to TV. Lastly, check your video settings on your Denon as you make need to turn turn on some type of "Enhanced" feature.
  21. @Dueportthanks for asking this question as I have wondered about this same thing for some time but have been too lazy to ask. @lippavisualI am trying to get a better understanding of what you said about all the actions need to be bound to a driver's connections. Is that a specific request I need to make from my dealer? Meaning I have Composer HE and six button keypads that are setup and working for lights & audio. I didn't know if that capability is already there and I just need to create it in Programing or have additional dealer help? Speaking of where is "follow last button" located in HE?
  22. I did not realize that but just checked it out on Best Buy's website (paid annually). That is pretty cool and thanks for sharing.
  23. @Topspin14mwas that question for me or the original poster?
  24. To add to @tekki70comments I would look for HDMI cables that are 4K HDR with 18Gbps capable especially if your TV and any other related equipment (av receiver, baluns etc) support HDR. Those are easily found on Amazon and other sites but as he stated ALL cables in the chain as well as equipment must be compatible. If your TV and other equipment supports HDR, a tip for the Apple TV is to make the following changes in the video/audio settings in the ATV menu: Set resolution to 4K SDR (even if your TV supports HDR) as this will not force non-HDR content to display in HDR and look washed out. In the Match Content setting Turn On the Match Frame Rate and Dynamic Range setting
