You have to pay for a dealer to swich drivers - so they will be a cost - This ranges. Also you have to purchase and run IR buds so the cost could be $100`s

You have to connect it to a computer put it in DFU mode and then you can.

pinkoos
OOL for the 4K https://www.imore.com/how-downgrade-tvos-beta-tvos-12-apple-tv Downgrading your Apple TV 4K If you installed tvOS 13 on your Apple TV 4K, you're out of luck. There is no way to downgrade your Apple TV to an earlier version of tvOS. The reason: The Apple TV 4K doesn't include the necessary USB-C port to allow you to connect it to your Mac, and Apple doesn't provide an over-the-air restore image for the most recent public version of tvOS. THE L1ZARD KING
It looks like tvOS 13 does break integration with the Gen3 model. The driver fails to initialize and pair, for me anyway. I am on C4 OS 3.1 with the Apple TV (Gen 1 – 3) [IP] v111 driver. 09/27/19 07:24:31 : Initializing connection 09/27/19 07:24:31 : Connected on port 49152 09/27/19 07:24:36 : EVQ - Timeout while connected - Count: 1 on connection 6001 09/27/19 07:24:36 : Disconnected from port 49152

BBLV
Is there an IP driver compatible with tvOS 13? My dealer and I are not able to figure this one out. Kind of shocking this wasn't better planned for, as Apple is a C4 partner and AppleTV is likely the most popular streaming device in most C4 environments? thegreatheed
