  1. I have been using Kodi for local playback for 10+ years on many different platforms; Nuc, (Rpi 1,2,3,4) ODROID C2, ODROID-N2+. The ODROID N2+ w/2gigRam has been rock solid. Highly recommend with Alan's Kodi lite Driver. Also have a few old Dune Smart H1's that I use for DVD playback, I find the video processing to look great for DVD's.
  2. @Andrew luecke Trying to confirm if the Haiku Gen 4 fans are compatible with your v2 Big ass fan driver. Thanks!
  3. Only way I have had success with Neeo's and Unifi is to create a separate network for each remote, and only broadcast that network on the 1 closest AP.
  4. If you have space put a 1U vent blank plate between the EA-5 and your network switch...
  5. I think the best reason to keep the SR260 around is reliability on small jobs where you don't own the network. The ZigBee remote is great, it just works. That said on bigger projects I love Wifi remote's. With panelized lighting I don't have to worry about ZigBee coverage. I think C4 should continue to have both ZigBee and wifi remote versions.
  6. I would not upgrade my HC800 to an EA series controller at this point. I still have a HC800 running 3.2.4 and it's great. The processor in the HC800 is a work horse. I would be tempted to upgrade to a Core 3/5 in the future though, once new remotes drop and new features are added. jm2c!
  7. Right! I wish they supported their dealers better... regarding inventory have had issues with customers when they have been waiting patiently for months for orders on backorder that I placed only to have sonos.com show in stock... makes us custom installers look bad.
  8. I think I have 5 at my beach house. I will be their on the 8th. PM me and we can make a deal.
  9. Bump still for sale great deal Brand new never used!
  10. Have you tested this, I just got off the phone with tech support and they said the LU-642L will pass Ethernet with the C4-LU1E but not the C4-LU1
  11. bump Price drop $140 Shipped
  12. For Sale NIB Keypad Wireless C4-KC120277-WH (White) $150 $140 Shipped to lower 48. Payment by vemo or pay-pal If paying by pay-pal your responsible to cover associated fee's. Thanks,
  13. "We are currently evaluating bringing back the manual IP address setting to provide a workaround for misconfigured networks." +1 Please bring this back!
  14. You will want to get a C4 APD Dimmer, the 1st Gen dimmers only did forward phase dimming hence the humming with your LEDs. Note: The new essential c4 lighting also only does forward phase dimming.
  15. I remember seeing them at Cedia in San Diego a few years ago so I assumed so...
  16. Hi, Plex is great but be aware with Plex that it can not play all media formats. If you have a massive library as I do it was a no go for me as I have a ton of DVD's and Blu-rays rip to ISO and BDMV and I'm not will to spend the time and processing power to convert to MKV. I use Kodi with Librelec and CoreElec to stream from my NAS. For players I have a few Odriod C2 that have been the most solid of the bunch and will do 4k but no HDR. If I was buying new Players I would go with Odriod N2 4K and HDR. They have a CoreElec model that comes loaded with Kodi. I recommend checking them out here. Alan's Kodi Driver is awesome!
  17. Just for the record Edgerouter4 is a great router and works well with control4
  18. I found the best way to set up IP Samsung driver's (from tech support) are to install the driver via SDDP and then in network connections set it to the IP address of the TV. Make sure to reserve the IP address on the router.
  19. Check out this Video I used Foxe to edit the diver I just did my first one today!
  20. I would be happy to test out this driver on our showroom system as we have a unifi protect system running on a work bench there.
  21. Yes it does! I started testing it on 18 beta when I lost control on my "other" driver.
