paneristinewb Posted October 22, 2023 Share Posted October 22, 2023 Hey everyone, not sure if this is a Roku or C4 issue, but my Roku apps are no longer launching directly from my halo remote, C4 app, or wall displays. Whenever I click on a specific app (YouTube tv, for example), the Roku main screen launches as opposed to diving straight into the app. This just started happening randomly a couple days ago. Not sure if there was some Roku update that “broke” the feature. Any ideas on this behavior or solutions for it? Thanks! mteele Posted March 29 Share Posted March 29 Was any resolution reached on this issue? I am actually having the opposite issue with a Roku that started today. The apps are all launching like normal....but NONE of the other commands will execute on the Roku. the directional pad, play/pause, menu, etc. - none will work. I can see the commands being sent to the Roku in the Lua, so I know its not a remote issue. I am also trying to send commands through the C4 app in iOS....also to no avail. indecision Posted March 30 Share Posted March 30 Guys I am experiencing the same problem at my house tonight. No D-pad controls but will select apps. I am a dealer so have access to re-identify my Roku's in composer. Have rebooted the Roku's and no joy. Something is broken. EMUzing Posted March 30 Share Posted March 30 For me Only a factory reset worked...Also this api issue only happend on 2 of the 3 rokus not the latest one....I have multiple calls from customers and am not comfortable Having them factory restore so that means rollouts.. Control4 can also launch apps…if I go to channel selector it will launch an app. But no direction keys or enter work. Nothing has updated recently, which makes this whole thing even more weird.
