ILoveC4 got a reaction from Time2Jet in 4K HDMI Balun
I'm an idiot when it comes to 4K. I've got an Integra 5.3 receiver and an Epson 6050 PJ. I want to get 4K from the receiver to the PJ. I have a bunch of CAT6 ran between the 2, and they're about 90 feet apart. What do you recommend? Is this any good?

Is it just me, or do you have several network related problems going on right now?

Having compatibility with Ring seems like a big selling point to me.

The relay port of the ds2 or any controller to program off of the button press

If you have it set to normally closed, then it would stay closed...which would mean when you push the button on the wall to close the circuit it doesn’t do anything because it’s already closed. Make sense?

ILoveC4 got a reaction from South Africa C4 user in Timer Agent
First of all, the third line shouldn’t be there at all. Second of all, anything under a conditional needs to be nested. The way you have it now, the conditional of “If timer is expired” isn’t influencing the turning off of the fan.
To turn the fan off, you won’t do it here. You’ll do it under the programming for the timer event. When the timer expires, turn the fan off.

Maybe I can find some time today to take some screenshots for you. I’m surprised it runs for 5 seconds before it turns off.

Turning on the fan starts the timer. To turn off the fan, you put that under the programming for when the timer expires.

By your description, it doesn't sound like the optimal setup for the router. Unless there's a need for vlan's (zones), only the primary switch should be the connected to the router. The SX24P is managed so let it do its job as a primary. All the rest of the switches and waps should be connected to the primary switch. A Flat network is the best option.

ILoveC4 got a reaction from Hasnat in Projector Navigation
Yeah, I understand why it’s the way it is. If you want them to show the same thing all the time (like most board rooms I visit) just split the outputs and don’t tell C4 there’s 2 projectors. Alternatively, you can get creative with programming to make this work. I setup a system with 3 TV’s on one wall, and a very simple to use but complex to program method of moving sources from screen to screen, choosing which screen had the audio, etc... It can be done.

Use the scheduler agent to set the time you want something to happen.
In programming, find the scheduler event, then on the top right pick the room and in the bottom right select the source.

Thanks for sharing. I have one on my new place that we're going to move in to in a few weeks. I've not had one before, so I'm sure this will aid in helping me get it sorted out.

ILoveC4 reacted to South Africa C4 user in Discussion of new CA-10 controller
Thanks for the interest. What is strange in my situation is that no new drivers have been added in the last month or two although we have added 30 or 40 instances of existing drivers / sensor types etc.
From memory, my system covers approximately the following:
26 virtual (C4) rooms
130 lighting circuits (all with keypad dimmers or switches and an additional 10 standard alone keypads)
12 audio zones
3 video zones (over and above the audio zones)
Around 10 video inputs (via a matrix) and 2 AVRs
Pentair swimming pool, chiller and spa integration (including 7 pumps, 2 heat pumps, 1 chiller pump, 20 or so auxiliary and lighting circuits).
10 “zones” of underfloor heating (thermostats and underfloor hearing itself)
2 heat pumps for underfloor heating and a further 2 circulation pumps.
10 “zones” of air conditioning (each controlled separately - I.e. no central Aircon controller).
DSC security system with 64 zones (around 50 used).
12 cameras coming in from 2 different systems
2 DS2 door stations
10 zones of irrigation (using native C4 drivers only).
5 IO extenders
5 EA1s
2 HC800s
1 EA5 (Director)
a further 30 thermostats used to display variables
100 Driver instances from Driver Central (mainly Chowmain)
2 Annex4 drivers
3 Blackwire drivers (TTS, renamer and emojis - around 20 instances of the latter).
3 garage doors
2 gates
Basic energy monitoring
Around 100 native sensors (some linked to security, others linked to other contacts and relays)
Around 40 native C4 experience buttons (controlling items like jacuzzi covers)
Lots of programming (couple of hundred macros, couple of hundred variables, 100+ timers, 30 or so emails set up and 30 or so push notifications - these have not been set up efficiently)
200 or so movies, 500 or so CDs in MyMovies and MyMusic
6 Tidal drivers
8 Shairbridge drivers
3 blinds
4 T3s
250 Alexa voice scenes, devices and lights / lighting scenes
The Wakeup goodnight Driver in a few rooms.
A few other drivers from individual developers.
I am sure that I am missing some items...

I’ve got an HC1000V3 here that was non-killable too...for about 18 months until it was deprecated and became an expensive paperweight.
