I noticed project loads faster with EA5 on 3.3.1 than HC800 on 3.3.0, IOS app is faster as well, overall everything is fine except one thing Panelized Lighting Modules (Switch/Relay) v1 doesn’t work after director reboot, they have to be power cycled to work, a pain in the neck that for sure I know OS3 had introduce it!

Yep, if u r well trained I would say going traditional is faster!

Are u sure u managed to leave mesh on your device? What is your load type, you maybe not using correct leave mesh sequence. I know u said u did that already but make sure u select the EA1 for pairing otherwise it will default to the existing controller!

Well this garbage had failed in the migration after removing the project from the HC800 and unregister it from my account, did nothing on the EA5! We didn’t scramble nor panicked, manually did the whole thing, but we are online quickly, pain in the ass, I hope they mature the process in the future to be bulletproof!

Some one reached out for you and fixed this right? You may have a network issue or worse, CA-1 doesn’t see the director and therefore keeps flashing blue instead of solid blue!

Have ur Pro check the programing when the device was added, this can be forced to max out @ 55%, not sure HE can check that!

I get Audio/Video from DS2 Mini the same moment the Doorbell “rings” on my T3’s, this is all local by description, doesn’t matter on POE or WiFi everything rings the same moment! For Mobile specifically iPhones that’s a different story, WiFi or GSM it’s hit and miss for Video but Audio connects instantly I could say less than 5 sec on WiFi and around 10 sec on GSM, network differs great deal am all 4G here!

Something is wrong here. Am sure this is network related some how, are u connected to the chime wireless? I have the much older tech DS2 Mini and it’s instant to receive Full Video/Audio on my 13 T3’s, so with much newer technology like Chime this should be the same!?

I recommend AC Infinity as well, they are super quiet and can provide a total protection, then can be purchased to allow air-in from bottom and suck hot air out at top and at middle as well, they comes in all shapes, 1U, 2U, different fan configurations and numbers, with and without a thermostat, you name it. I also never recommend to shut down anything, system at idle state draws very little power, just unplug using smart plugs whatever system u don’t want it functional like a heater or whatever, I do that when traveling for a long time, I just hit Travel custom button and it do the rest. An HA system is there for security, u program it when bad things happen, it alerts you to take actions, this is not recommended at all, I urge u to invest more in securing your home while away! Answering your quoted question, wireless Thermostat will continue to function without controller, it will stop when batteries !

These are not available new, and currently no used stock on eBay as well, you better go with the Nice or Axxess ones. Also some people reported Philips Hue ones are great option and C4 driver available as well.

One thing we noticed the main controller doesn’t have this 800 icon rather the old OS2 days icon! Also it will be impossible to migrate those Zigbee loads, that’s a huge labor, 2-3 days work, I have a lot of switches embedded already and it’s more than 40 devices! My understanding Migration will automatically turn the EA5 to primary controller move everything and re-register controller to work with my account!?

Same issue here. They can’t figure out why it’s not showing up and we do want to migrate to EA5 as planned, but now they disappeared and this ticket with C4 and all the regular stuff takes ages!

What would be the reason for an HC800 on 3.3.0 to not show as a source controller in the Wizard? Every other secondary controller appears except the main controller?

Am using a totally different method, I flash my Sonoff’s with Tasmota and uses a driver specifically made for IP control, the driver is not sold anymore. You can however with DIY mode, use any of the drivers on DC like: - Domaudeo - 4Drivers

Shelly’s overall TCO is the lowest with a C4 driver but it will be WiFi based one.

Need to be re-flashed again, added back to project, check with your dealer.

I received a call from DTI 2 minutes after posting my issue, I got taken care off, I have everything working now, I also have a clear knowledge of what to do if you are migrating your HB setup and what need to be done! Superior Support from DTI and I have my Home App working again and Geofencing is doing the magic
