One room setup, but u need to make the default Video and Audio Video endpoint for the most used case AVR or TV, in my case I have the TV as default, created a custom menu for the AVR, Power On/Off, Vol +, Vol -, Mute This is the exact setup in my living room, if I need an amplified sound I just turn AVR custom key On and via programing it brings TV sound to zero and adjust sound, I then use the other 2 custom buttons Vol+/Vol- to change Volume I find the 2 room setup a bit stupid and it’s one of the issues with C4 that currently not addressed properly!

I can tell u that I have never managed to have the driver show the Homebridge inside the driver ever, I also find that Synology https has tons of issues not only to this driver but to a lot others, so best thing is to access HB outside the driver and u can get everything sorted there and u will work normally, in the driver just set HB installed on NAS to “No” and it should work, I had HB installed in Docker and as an App and I have no issues since abandoning https!

You need to make sure the IR repeat cods on the driver is not set to the default “5” edit the driver and have all commands “2” or “1”! In my home as I use CAT6 cables to deliver IR around the house all IR commands are set to 1 anything more than that produces the issues you are complaining from.

That’s unlikely, try other HDMI input, make sure of the connection and binding, I have the lesser 2800ES and never had such issue. You also need to setup passthrough so last connected device will always be there! Try to connect them directly into the Receiver and see if u can get the sound, then you may need to check the leaf, just swap inputs and try things out till u fix it.

You need to troubleshoot this, disconnect the security panel and see if it’s the source of this noise, then consult the manual of the security panel to see if you can disable sound!

I hear you and I understand your frustration but they toke the decision of EOSL for the HC series and they will not touch it, yes they could have made a driver to keep it at 3.3 and use it as IO but there is an IO device already and they will not repurpose it just because a couple of hundred people wants this, so there is no point in debating and discussing something that will never be done by C4 no matter how long or how loud some voices are

Many ways but you can do the following: - Connect BS server output to any input of any EA u have in the project and can stream that to your speakers setup, depending on what u have - Connect BS server output to an input of your audio matrix so u have this as an audio source I have the Node 2 and am steaming music natively this way to my setup wither via audio matrix or any Amp/speakers I have in my home!

Another solution is to get the metal enclosure closer to a WiFi AP this will help weaker WiFi signals inside the box and u just use regular WiFi

So the issue is the Triad? How did they concluded that? Is the Roku the only device that is attached to the matrix or there are other audio/sources? Also how come the entire setup is flaky? So the AMS and Roku need replacement? The root cause is what u need to know, switching gears will not always fix things but they are doing it already!

I have the same setup, TV plays normally, sound comes throughout the TV, but any Audio goes to ceiling speakers via the source -> Audio Matrix -> speakers, so when I’m watching TV and turn on any source in the “Listen”, I no longer can control the audio on the TV, no way I can go back to full control of the audio on TV unless I turned off the room! Its not that big deal and I live with this, didn’t really thought about it, may be the room control driver can be used but as I said I didn’t put any efforts in this scenario!

I wouldn’t say this is a Control4 issue rather it’s an audio connection issue that is caused by an HDMI, audio sync, etc. whoever set this up need to come back and fix it! It could be anything, the Roku, the amp, the cable, so all has to be troubleshooted!

It’s a going issue and random, has no fix, I just gave up receiving video from DS2 calls on IOS, I don’t use android phones outside home! Audio only is fine as long as it works!
