  1. 2199.00 is msrp. ive installed a few and have one at my house, i like it a lot
  2. the driver in composer has very good documentation on how to setup the denon for control from c4,
  3. is it possible your using the audio volume endpoint for the tv and not sonos, and using ir driver and not ip? check your video endpoints
  4. i believe the dish network ip driver isnt working right now, known issue, you need to create an ir driver
  5. i hate to say it, try to sell your matrix and do a moip or jap system, otherwise what Cyknight says might be your best option
  6. within homeworks program them to turn on to a certain level. this way no matter how you turn them on, alexa, c4, button press they will always turn on to that preset level
  7. i have done quite a few of the duets, the trick is to not use the spotify mini app for the ovation, just use the ovation player driver. ii did have one job where one of our techs called fusion and they had them use spotty, not spotify but still gave them spotify access. My personal system i just removed the spotify mini app, use just the ovation player driver and i have no issues. my advice is to have your installer call fusion and get help setting up the fusion the tech support is fast and very good, have them also look at the integration with control4 to make sure he has it setup correctly.
  8. log into your xfinity modem and look at the dhcp ip scheme, then look in the xfinity modem for connection list and see if you see your control4 devices. if you dont see your control4 devices try powering them off wait a few seconds and power them back up. if you still dont see them then your c4 controllers are probably static ip, and most likely on another ip scheme. you will need to use composer to log into system manager and change the ip of each device. if you have touchscreens you can tap on touchscreen and change its ip, you can do dhcp to the touch screen if your not too tech savvy
  9. i cut out the sheetrock and built a shelf in the wall for a client, you still need its charging base so no way except some sort of shelf.
  10. is your computer network set to private? and are you connecting composer local and not remote?
  11. Ea1 is your best bet or add some c4 lighting to your home to build a zigbee network, if cost is a factor use the essentials dimmers or switches.
  12. on a controller say an ea3 if you have coax digital connected to a matrix, then analog one and two connected to a matrix, then you pay for a family plan you can put 3 instances of spotify into c4 with a different login for each of the instances of spotify. if each user uses thier respective spotify you can have 3 different streams going. however to answer your question about which output plays, if you have all 3 outputs going, digital is chosen 1st, then analog 2, then analog one. if you have only analog cables hooked up to both output 1 and 2 , analog 2 will always play 1st from the controller
  13. doesnt work like a cable box, i dont believe there is a way to just change channels
  14. make sure all hdmi cables are 4k capable, and all devices must be 4k capable as well. older devices also may be 4k but certain ports were 4k, not all ports. then check the settings in your devices to make sure 4k is turned on. you could also connect each wire to the tv directly to test the hdmi's, then work work backwards to find the culprit causing your issue
  15. i agree, pico's are nice cheap, easy way, in one of my bathrooms i have a music pico to start music, toggle through preset cycler, raise and lower volume, works well.i do have some casetta throughout the house as well.
  16. so i just ran across this problem but it was that the electrician put a keypad dimmer in and an essentials keypad aux at the other location, only the bottom worked, once i switched out the essentials for a regular it worked normally. it was probably my bosses mistake for locations, but thats another discussion, lol
  17. in composer start the pairing process from the connections tab/zwave you have 45 seconds to then press the button on the aoetec device. i would plug this in close to the zwave adapter to ensure you have proper signal, once paired i would then move it to the location you want
  18. so you have the zwave module for control4, then you need a dealer to add the drivers, if you have a vera hub or another ZWAVE Hub "some are compatible or have drivers ,you still need a dealer to add the drivers. you need a dealer to add drivers to your control4 project, you can buy composer home to make some edits to your control system, after your dealer adds the drivers however i dont believe aotec extenders are compatible directly with control4 i dont see a driver but ill try when i get home today , you need a hub like a vera hub then you can bring them into control4,
  19. ok so we sell mainly araknis, full setups, but we played around with luxul we tried the 5000 router, managed and unmanged switches, 1000 controller and 1510 waps. i can say that i do like the waps with the controller and overall liked the gear after getting it setup properly, however i did have some troubles with it and had to reach out to a more network savvy friend colleague .i had a quite a few problems with luxul routers not opening ports, and tech support sucked at helping, which caused us to stop selling luxul, we still use the waps setup because the handoff is better than araknis. here is the issue with a lot of DEALERS, luxul has quite a few settings that most dealers don't know about, or how to set them up properly, most dealers are av guys trying to do networks and the luxul components are just not plug and play. or drop it and go. Luxul does require some more network knowledge then other brands but it is solid gear. my suggestion is find yourself a real networking guy to help you setup your system, do a site survey and move your waps to the proper locations needed for your home.
  20. should be able to just start pairing process in composer pro zwave tab, then just press the button on the device, sometimes its easier to just have the device within a few feet of the processor where your zwave adapter is and then move it to the area you actually want it
  21. i still would recommend the chime, its a pretty solid product
  22. i have the poe chime and the day/night image is much better than the ds2, however sometimes the chime takes about 15 seconds to notify me. it could be because i have a pretty large system running on a ea3, which in time ill upgrade to a ea5. i do have push notifications running off motion too that work work great with video clips as well. overall i would definitely recommend the chime over the ds2. i have installed a few on smaller systems and ea3, and some with ea5 and works quickly with those systems. i used a plate to cover the old ds2 whole
  23. the only thing i would do is just do a sensor to tell me if the pool cover was open or closed, but in now way would i program it to open or close remotely
