  1. best i can offer if you have performed the following 1. Make sure that the SHIELD TV Remote Service app in the Shield host device is updated to the latest version. You can update the app by using Google Play Store on the Shield host device. The version of SHIELD TV Remote Service should be greater than or equal to 2036968. The version can be checked at the page: Home -> Settings -> Apps -> See all apps -> SHIELD TV Remote Service. 2. Disable all CEC/IR control settings. We want the Control4 system to control those related settings. Please verify that they are disabled in the following settings pages: ⦁ Home -> Settings -> Device Preferences -> Display & Sound ->Power control. Disable all settings on this page. ⦁ Home -> Settings -> Device Preferences -> Display & Sound -> Volume control. Disable all settings on this page. 3. Disable Sleep mode timeout for better user experience: Home -> Settings -> Device Preferences -> Screen saver -> Put device to sleep -> Never.
  2. do you have cat run from the rack to the tv? if so you can do a dac back to the c4 matrix, this way anything playing from the tv will play through the c4 amp, if not then hdmi stripper for each source to the c4 matrix would be the way to go
  3. the only time ive seen this is when the tv wasnt paired, try going back into composer and pair the tv, also make sure the tv updated, ip control is turned on in the the tv otherwise you wont find it sddp
  4. do you get sound from other sources in the denon on zone 2 check your settings for zone 2 setup and make sure its not being played from speaker terminals and its set for preamp have you checked your assignable inputs is the volume lowering and raising for zone 2 or do you have it set to fixed how is the response series setup to handle volume? is it fixed or variable
  5. ive installed quite a few of the chimes and havent had clients complain about them yet, however at my own house im on my 3rd chime, 1st one was showing in history as the button press was being done every minute, rma on that, the 2nd one just stopped notifying my android phone, so i rma that one, now the 3rd one doesnt ring my galaxy s10+. ive been on with tech support several times, ive factory defaulted it, deleted communication agent and reinstalled, deleted all phones from customer.control4.com, setup multiple users with thier own user id. motion works fine, button pushes still dont call so i setup a push notification for button presses so at least i knoiw someones at the door and my zones without a touchscreen i have announcements. i myself am getting close to going back to doorbird until they can fix this but the picture quality on doorbird is nowhere near as good as the chime
  6. are you positive its just a normal speaker, and not a dual voice coil? i would pull the speaker down and check to see if it has 2 sets of speaker terminals on the back or one. if two its a dual voice coil, and if one set its a normal speaker
  7. do a up or down with a timer and a stop command might do. it might not be perfect but should get you close to what your looking for
  8. i havent tried it but you could create your playlist, create a custom button and do a shuffle command to do this
  9. there is a kb article explaining how to add the doorbell on c4 knowledgebase to luma nvr, when i get home ill try to post the steps
  10. it should work and you have to add it to the luma with ip address, user name and password
  11. happens to my system from time to time, just ask google to check for new devices
  12. i do believe the altice cable boxes and remotes are bluetooth only with zero ir capabilities, that said c4 cant control it
  13. do you have the communication agent installed and in the chime menu have you setup the call group? under communication agent what devices are under that call group
  14. we had 2 clients that were having connection issues with thier neeo remotes. we already had 2 seperate ids for 2.4 and 5, all i did was take out special character in the ssid and change the security to wpa2 mixed. client hasnt called back in 3 weeks so far.
  15. i would try to just power cycle the zigbee controller, unplug for 15 seconds and plug it back in,
  16. factory default the tv, and redo its setup, maybe something is hung up. and make sure in expert settings you have all the correct settings done on the tv to pair it
  17. how does it work with just the doorbird app? if its bad with the app check its settings if not and settings are good, just contact doorbird thier tech support is pretty good
  18. if its going into protection mode it could be a few things, and since the amp was already replaced the amp can be ruled out. 1 i would check the wire for a short 2 make sure proper polarity on the speakers 3 speaker itself so what i would do is disconnect all pairs of speakers, test the line and make sure there is no short then reconnect 1 speaker at a time play for a while at a nice loud level and see what happens, if it doesnt shut down then connect another speaker until all speakers are reconnected or the amp faults. yes its tedious but really the easiest way to find the issue
  19. i agree with RAV picos are a great affordable solution, you can program a music pico to do several functions
  20. ge 1002 models. zwave plus are supported, jasco makes them also add a few to create a good mesh. i know a lot of design says theyh work up to 60' but real world scenario i have had to put them in many jobs about 15' apart
  21. if you are only adding 1 extra zone above the 24 matrix , what about a triad one ?
  22. just get a wattbox and make and schedule for it to reboot, put a delay timer on the reboot sequence would be easiest
  23. 2 thing to really check, one would be make sure your not feeding a switch twice, could cause a loop, 2nd thing i would do is disconnect any lan to a tv as ive seen nic cards go bad in tvs and wreak havoc on a network, especially older frame tvs and some 32" older samsung tvs
  24. you can use the motorola qip driver, however not all buttons map correctly like skip and skip back, you can fix that by creating your own driver, or you can use the left or right transport keys to be skip and skip back
  25. delete the driver, and delete the app reboot phone and controller and try again, hope that helps
