we use a slim wall mounted rack for our field wiring - speakons are great!
most of our racks are built off site programmed and bought to site.

It could be a few things. 
 
no1 if the box is controlled via IR the flasher may have fallen off or stopped working. You can test this by putting the box on and standing in front of it and pushing buttons from Control4 to see if the IR bud flashes. 
 
no2 if the box is connected via IP the boxes IP address may have changed and needs to be re entered into composer
youll need a dealer to do the IP change.

Most electrical side work is pretty basic. 
I would imagine im not the only dealer here regularly taking over projects that are $50k+ and done by a “pro” clearly had zero understanding about high end and custom low voltage integration (tech bros) or are trained only understanding of the tech solutions being promised (non tech bros). Im sorry but we dont need more of that. There are non listed dealers that do small work. 
IMO…selling single zone Control4 systems is pretty ridiculous. If you do custom Home theater installs then yes, other wise trying to compete with a Sonos/ARC/Streamer combinations is not great.

All about setting expectations from the get go. 
& that's where maintenance and support contracts come into place. 

Pretty much lol. Support load is mostly the same between all the major systems. 
Honestly, all of the major systems are a tradeoff between cost, customisability, flexibility and scalability.
One thing that is true though, is that none of the major systems require installers to constantly run maintenance lol (especially if things are properly set up) but if it's a multi million dollar home, for security reasons and other reasons, it's sometimes a good idea to (at least return and run firmware upgrades, etc)

Fully agree with this.  You can add @mujtaba.khokhar (who commented earlier on this thread) to this list and another 5 or 6 excellent dealers on this forum.

You need a dealer to program the new amp in for you. 
 
Then it should work fine.

Quick shoutout for Muj (above). He’s done a bunch of work for me and it’s been a great experience! He’s super nice and knows what he’s doing. I had a terrible installation experience with a fairly large sized system from a local company and he was able to correct everything for me.  He also helped get everything set back up when we moved to a new home. Had someone local run the cabling and had Muj reprogram everything.
Would HIGHLY recommend him!!

judging by proteus Enclosure, you might be in the U.K.? 
 
The system is panalised and more than likely the keypads are on a bus rather than being zigbee. 
 
Best thing to do would be to log into the ea3 and see what’s going on. More than happy to assist with this.

We’ll you can upgrade depending on your environment, what controllers etc you have if you have any legacy equipment. 
 
If it fairly new then an upgrade will be possible with out new hardware, more than happy to advise on this.
