Run a DLNA server on your NAS and then ask your dealer to install the DLNA driver.  This is the most seamless method in my opinion.

I haven't tried two libraries, but I'm pretty sure "shuffle" is working as expected for me.  I'll double check when I get home.

Sorry for the incredibly frustrating spam attacks lately. I have added the CleanTalk plugin / spam prevention which should solve the problem moving forward.
I will monitor it closely to make sure it's working properly.

There is only one ring events driver. That is from blackwire design. It doesn't support video. Only events.

Yeah,  BUT it was in nearly every review (and I assume the release notes) that I read about 3.0.. literally, everyone has been talking about it.

Roku is probably your best option.  The driver is IP based, very reliable and it's free.  You can start Netflix (and other Roku apps) directly from C4.
For outlets, I would look at TP-Link.

There seems to be only comments on the UI. What about the new features included for programming with HE?  Doesn't anybody like how a line can be edited instead of deleted and re-written?  The navigator tab now allows you to change what you can show or hide for many or all the rooms instead of one room at a time. How nice is that?
There's also a summary tab (beside properties) at the Room Level.  You can now see all your programming related to that room in one place!

But, the Ring Elite still looks much better than the DS2 in my opinion.  The DS2 looks crazy dated.  My wife didn't even allow me to put the DS2 on our front porch.  I would much rather have the Ring Elite on my house (in fact, I do have the Ring Elite).  

Essentially, start a 2 second timer on press,  stop the timer on release... on timer expiring, activate the relevant command.

Why doesn't everyone just wait until the Snap merger/takeover is official, C4 becomes a private company again, then we can finally get more detailed info as in what's to come for the future (ie: products, roadmap,etc.)

Also, I don't understand why so many are disgruntled over this.  You want bleeding edge, your hardware best be bleeding edge.  Too many gripes about equipment that has been around FOREVER.  Speaker points??  Seriously??  Did I read someone complaining about no speaker point capability?
As for older touch screens, replace them with IOS or Android tablets, if you find buying more C4 versions too expensive.  The mobiles get the same interface and can do intercom using the other app.

Where can I find an overview of all of the new features and a list of all of the hardware that will be obsolete in 3.0 so that I can make a call on whether I upgrade now or put that way off into the future?
The Control4 website is a bit too marketing oriented - I just want the cold, hard specs.

Pretty clear 3.0 is to help dealers sell more touchscreens.
Touchscreens are cool, but their 'need' and usefulness had been waning and the old GUI handicapping.
The virtual D-tab, the media bar with icons below so you can adjust lights and stuff while watching/listening, view a camera, answer the door, will make for a better user experience.
Maybe it'll be like a pacifier to get people's heads out of their tablets when the family's watching a movie, here you drive, but down facebook.
