On the right side of your picture there are 6 silver standoffs where the power supply would mount to. You will need all the wiring connectors as well as I do not see them on the small circuit board near the front. 2 White and 1 Red connector)

But Triad audio matrices add built-in DAC for optical and digital coax - 4 inputs shared on the 8x8, on the 24x24, there are 16 analogue inputs plus 8 digital inputs.
Also built-in 12v triggers of power amps.

Waring192 reacted to Cyknight in Control4 T3 Screen Manufactures?
Pretty confident they have them manufactured direct from a factory (either owned or OEM, not sure), they're not a 3rd party design that's adapted (unlike the DS series doorstation for example, made by 2N). I've at least never seen a 'knock-off'

Waring192 reacted to david@berto.co.uk in Forthcoming Berto IoT Production Release
After several months of beta testing my new IoT driver suite I’m ready push a production release scheduled for the 5th June.
There are some significant changes to the way the main IoT Gateway driver works and as such I’m advising existing users of these drivers to turn Auto Update Off on all Berto drivers so that you can control when, or if, you update to the latest release.
Details of the update will be available at https://berto.io/c4z/Berto_IOTGateway/www/README.html but to provide a quick flavour...
Support for devices running Tasmota firmware, native support for Shelly and Sonoff DIY devices, Lifx bulbs, Flic buttons, Homekit and Google Assistant integration. Support for Buttons and Contacts connected to the Sonoff RF Bridge. Devices controlled directly with HTTP or using MqTT broker (preferred method). Automatic device discovery using mDNS, MqTT or manual IP address for auto detection. Easy install of Berto Hub on Pi 3/4 or fully configured Pi 4 in case with POE for €150 which includes 1 year Premium subscription, please PM. Just 3 IoT slave drivers providing support for dimmers & RGBW, switch lights, relays and numerous sensors (contact, input, power, voltage, battery, temperature, humidity, flood, vibration, tilt and lux). Custom MqTT message sending and receiving eventually replacing the need for original Berto_MQTTBridge driver. Other integration drivers include :-
WebView to provide the native device web interface on T3 touchscreens, useful for managing RGBW lights realtime. WebServer allowing bi-directional integration with your system controller. Read ALL your system devices and control them using simple HTTP commands. Send GET and POST requests and also establish WebSocket connections. Pushover & IFTTT providing bi-directional messaging with https://pushover.net and https://ifttt.com. Over 100 or so devices have been tested across various manufacturers and protocols, if you have a device that you would like support adding to the gateway then please PM and I’ll see what can be done.
    Thank you
    David

I have a few wall mount screens in entry ways - foyer when entering from the front door, an area that is between a basement gym and entry from the garage, and one in my kitchen on the wall next to the doors leading to the patio.  the other one is in the master bedroom, not near any exit doors.  we have a wireless tabletop one in our office on the 2nd floor.  Our thought was by entry/exit is a good place because we do not have any alarm keypads showing, so by the door you can get access to the alarm functions, turn things on/off when coming/going, etc.  Its also helpful to have intercom function near the gym, master bedroom, 2nd floor office and kitchen as those are heavy use areas where we could not respond quickly to the door ringing. really depends on your layout and how you use the rooms.

They do have a skin for the D101.  Basically a brushed nickel plate that sticks to the polycarbonate.  If you google DS101 (I believe) that is what it’ll look like.  That’s what I have as well.

DoorBird works with all your questions.  Can even program the lock button on the doorbird app to control a smart lock.
D101 was their original least expensive unit.  They have a much nicer looking version now.

    Control4 has 2 apps
regular control app and the intercom anywhere.  If you have a doorstation with c4 integration then your doorstation rings the intercom anywhere app.  In that app when you see the video there is a button that can unlock a door
    regarding looks - that’s a personal decision.

the public c4 announcement a year ago didn’t mention doorbird support with intercom anywhere.  The driver says it will work so maybe it changed

video of intercom anywhere app with the button to unlock a door (and you can do lights etc)

I don’t believe it works with intercom anywhere.  DS2, 2n, comelit and 1 other do.  At least from the last public release I read.

You need something with SIP to get 2 way video and audio on the t3.  Those agents can send you texts or emails with still photos if someone were to ring the PoE doorbell but you can do that in c4 without those agents
that said I believe there is a doorbird driver.  Why not buy and use it?  It’s cheaper than the agents bundle you referenced

I believe within the app there is a button you can configure to unlock a smart lock. So if you are talking to someone you don’t have to close the app, launch the standard c4 app to open the door.  You can do it from the intercom anywhere app.

intercom anywhere only works on phones - not tablets.  C4 doesn’t want to cannibalize their sales of touchscreens.

Any voltage free push button would work something, if you want one with with a light you can power it of the 12 input on the back of the processor.

There’s also a pod driver with some nice features

I guess they don’t do the faceplates anymore, maybe just the complete units...
Yeah it can pretty much all programmed,
You can get a feed to also display on t3 touchscreens and the onscreen display via a processor.

    Thanks

There’s also a company who does custom front plates and the entire DoorBird unit if you don’t like the way it currently looks.

    Might be of interest

Alternatively you could use the Ethernet wire it into a simple push button, bind it to a relay - program the button to execute an announcement when it’s pushed.

    Thanks

I have a driver for sale on Blackwire for the new cameras. It's limited due to the way they work but it does get you live video.

New driver from Cinegration on Drivercentral for the Unifi cam systems.
The DB would work perfectly fine for what you want.  Personally, I find it to be the best option to get all the available features without paying $$$$.
You could also do Ring (ewww), but only button notifications, no video.  Would have to use native app for that.

V2 is not good 4 applications that need it to change the volume. It can only do it in 4% increments where does V3 can do 1% increments. So it depends on what kind of amplifier you have.

Most likely won’t work or at least not worth trying.  US and EU versions run different software.
If you try this, you could potentially brick your tv which would be a pretty expensive mistake.
Better off complaining to your local Samsung rep.
