That's correct. There is no good/official way of doing it yet for drivers like Shelly. 
Some cloud/gateway based products have groups built into the API (like the Phillip Hue), which is why they may already include group support (they can treat it as a normal light in most cases). But the limitations of that, is that group support often won't work between multiple gateways and won't work between different brands / drivers.
To the best of my knowledge, Shelly doesn't have a good native local Group API which we can utilise for this purpose (despite being able to group them in the app).
 
Rather than hack together something (which will be difficult to maintain long-term, end up getting depreciated fairly quickly and require changes long term anyway), the best way forward is to wait for an official API. 
 
 
 
 

RYFF = the underlying system that's been there for years, now brand named. So no, it's actually not something 'new' as such.

Any further information on this or is there any plans to incorporate this feature? I have one room with 13 Shelly RGBW devices, and I set custom buttons for the common colors, but if my client wants to change them all to a different color it's really cumbersome. 
I'd love to see a way to link the lights together with the color wheel to adjust them all at the same time.

so it ended as a brick. he sold a business to c4 which was financed through the whole community. 
i hope he get what he deserves.

heavy prices for an android 10" device with fullhd display 🙄

I cant tell my clients that they need to upgrade to a ca10, because of faster connection speeds..
I dont know how communication inside c4 works, but i dont know any other smarthome that needs so much time for the connection.

I think we are well aware of your opinion.
If you think it's not a good deal, don't buy it.  It was released with announced features, and has added many features since then, and continues to add new features.
I thought it was a great remote then, and I think it's an even better remote now.

Thanks for your help. I´ve used the universal mini drivers from c4 together with the sony tv driver. 
I solved the problem now. Shame on me! Audio path was not set correctly, after replacing the tv in the room. 🙈
now everything works again. So, the bug is not software based. Its more a problem in front of the pc

So grapped my neo and give it a try. awesome! Sliders are a little bit chunky but i think i need change the sr260 to neeos
