  2. With the C4 DAC, I doubt anyone can really tell the difference...

  4. Does anyone have a recommendation as to the sweet spot for a chime sensitivity setting? if sensitivity is set too high, i get hundreds of false alerts on a windy day; if i turn it down, the alerts only show up when someone is about to push the doorbell button. I've increased the object size and limited the field of view but still get too many false alerts.
  5. I also doubt I can tell the difference but I do want the max quality
  6. It is RATGDO source code, in a box, with a light and sounder premovement built in.
  7. Experience Button Key Status Red - off Green - on (manual) Yellow - auto When yellow, turn on fountain, start timer FountainRun FountianRun expires, if set to auto then turn off fountain and start timer FountainDelay FountainDelay expires, if set to auto turn on fountain and start timer FountainRun When red, stop timer FountainRun and FountainDelay, turn off fountain When green, turn on fountain, stop timer FountainRun and Fountain Delay Two timers so if someone wants different than 10 and 10 you don't have to reprogram everything, just tweak their times.
  8. I have Family Plan (which I believe used to unlock all quality levels) and it still shows quality as “No Limits” but the MQA option seems disabled (I honestly can’t say for sure if it was previously allowed). I get same message to log in with HiFi account to unlock this. Not sure how to see details of what quality it is actually using for any given song. Also not sure if I could hear the difference, so not too worried, other than obsessive desire to get the max quality I can. .
  9. Sounds very similar to the Ratgdo. Any differences in the capabilities of the hardware or C4 driver?
  10. I have ~10 of these and when they work, they are great, but I have had some issues with them dropping off network (Router shows good link, but they stop responding). Control4 driver works great, but not when they aren’t reachable, even from native ModernForms App. Power cycle seems to mostly fix it. I have very robust WiFi coverage. Anyway, not trashing them— I love them when they work, but that’s my experience.
  11. Hello everyone, I can’t solve the problem posed by a client, can someone help or suggest? The essence is this: there is a fountain, it should work in two modes 1. Manual mode (always on 2. auto mode (turn on for 10 minutes and turn off for 10 minutes and so on in a cycle). When manual mode is turned on, automatic mode is disabled I tried using the standard driver but it does not allow working in cyclic mode
  12. I did one project with Z Wave locks. I have never sold them again. We had large issues with the range and z wave communication. Installed an extra CA1 to help with the signal and several zwave repeater nodes. I would stick with zigbee.
  13. I ordered two Kwikset 912 lever locks from my dealer and found out the nickel finish is no longer available. I don't like the looks of the Yale lever-lock and there are no other options in the Control4 approved ecosystem. The Z-wave version is in stock at several distributors (may be discontinued but available now). I have a Core3 controller which is spec'd as Z-wave capable. There is a Kwikset Z-wave driver in their database. So, what would the limitations be if I integrated the Z-wave as opposed to the C4 Zigbee lock? Do I have to be concerned with the Z-wave range? Thanks, Glenn
  14. i integrated a several SE inverter aswell by modbus. i can say, that solaredge modbus is pain in the a**. There are so many constesslations like multiple inverters or batterys which would shift the registers. its very complicated and took a lot of time to get good results. your work in all honors. its nice to see but delivers at the moment it doenst deliver much benefit. if the data would be live you could switch consumers on/off if you have energy surplus

  16. Has anyone got experience connecting their pyronix alarm with control4. Trying to fugure out a way?
  17. Is it still blocked? I heard that someone on the Facebook group said that it’s no longer blocked and I don’t see anything about it on the purchase page for the driver (although I’m not sure if anything was ever there).
  18. No, that's not what this is for at all. You'd fry the fireplace and the dimmer. What should be done is either run a wire to a controller for a relay control, or add a wireless relay for control, then use a keypad for control.
  19. Have fireplace tech over who has informed me that fireplace switch ignition is 6 volts, assuming that the C4-TV120277 can be used then for a fireplace switch? Based on previous suggestions would program to have the switch automatically turn off after 1 hr.
  20. Just gotta chime in and say these Modern Forms fans are 100% legit. And a free C4 driver that actually works without another "bridge"!
  21. Hi - Which is this Yale August driver that you mention? Is it one of these? https://drivers.control4.com/solr/drivers/browse?q=yale or https://drivers.control4.com/solr/drivers/browse?q=august Thanks
  22. Thank you all for the follow-up and responses, much appreciated. Looking forward to testing out the CA10.
  23. Not something Ive seen, but yes ensure bond drivers (and bridge) are up to date. Usually if there's command issues, it would be range - or possibly a communication (network) issue on the bridge or the controller. The Chowmain driver does allow a repeat command option in case it's rf range issues.
  24. IF they replace it (and no I have no knowledge that they are) it's most likely because they can't get the original hardware anymore, not because of feature limitations (remember, the CA-10 is a PURE head unit to run the system, with no zigbee, audio or i/o of any kind)

  26. Hi guys. Just recently got into the control4 ecosystem and still trying to get all my TV's set up correctly in composer pro. However, can't seem to find a driver for my Panasonic TV (TX-43hx580). Trying to control via IP. Any ideas?
  27. There is a good Modbus driver out there. Originally developed by Yatun. Now supported by HopSoft. Available for sale on Driver Central.
