  1. Can you use a standard thermostat with those units? While I'm no HVAC expert we do tons of heat pump systems down here in FL and many of them work with 3rd party thermostats. If not I would check coolautomation, they may have a solution that works.
  2. The macro would just be a room off command for every room with audio in the project. As mentioned though, the room control driver would be much easier.
  3. I read it as the rest of the devices (besides the roku) are working via the app. I may be wrong though.
  4. I don't believe they do, just controller outputs.
  5. Sounds like the mic or the speaker is adding the delay, the triad matrix wouldn't randomly add a 4 second delay. I would feed the mic straight into the speaker and see if you get the delay, then plug some other source that you know doesn't buffer into the speaker (ie a phone or ipod). That should help you narrow it down. What active speaker are you using?
  6. Reboot the Roku, past that it could be a one of a few things likely either network or composer related i.e identified via IP and IP address changed, or it just needs to be repaired in composer.
  7. You're going to need there to be a driver for that specific device, or at the very least a web view for controlling that device, there is not going to be a generic plug and play driver available.
  8. Can you control anything sonos within the C4 app? If you just have the port feeding a house audio system it may not have actually been integrated and you wouldn't really have known since C4 wouldn't be controlling volume or power of the sonos port.
  9. If it's a newish iPhone go into the phones settings -> wifi -> disable private address.
  10. Certifications pass from dealer to dealer no problem, happens all the time. The real question here is whether you would be able to get the new company approved as a dealer as there are hoops to jump through to do that.
  11. Time to start eliminating things then. If I had to guess it's inconsistencies with the transformers. I would move one that you know works to one of the dimmer module channels that isn't working and see what happens. If it works fine it's not the dimmer module. I have seen this before where you have a handful of the same fixture and some work fine some don't, in my experience that's typically been with MLV not ELV though.
  12. Check the dimming phase, could be different between the ones that are working fine and the ones that aren't.
  13. Are you sure the fixture/bulb for those sink lights is able to be dimmed? If so it's likely a programming/binding issue. It sounds like you're making the LED color thing way harder than it needs to be. It seems like you're referring to keypad buttons since you said the LED behavior is set to programmed. If that is the case just bind that button to the light in connections and set LED behavior for that button to follow connection.
  14. You're really going to have to get a Control4 dealer that is willing to hire you and then get you trained up, or start your own shop (which may have it's own challenges). In the meantime learn as much about networking and AV as you can, that would be enough to get you hired by most C4 dealers.
  15. It's risky. You would need to make sure it gets set back up with the same IP scheme and all DHCP reservations. Can you not just call your installer and get the login credentials?
  16. You can do this through the announcement agent, assuming you have HDMI from a controller to that TV.
  17. If you have that many devices on a network you don't want a mesh piece acting as the router. Get a good router, then if you need to use a mesh system for some reason just use it for wifi.
  18. IGMP snooping enabled on a managed switch will block SDDP.
  19. FireTV integration is actually pretty easy, only 3 easy steps. 1. Rip out FireTV 2. Install Roku 3. Integrate Roku
  20. If you have an audio matrix feeding those matrix amps you need to make sure the inputs on the matrix amp are locked. i.e. input 1 to output 1, input 2 to output 2 etc. There is a check box in composer to do that but if that was somehow being done manually or programmatically I could see that going away having it unplugged for a while.
  21. Eh, I'll respectfully disagree with that one. Home kit has been "coming to kill C4" in the automation world for years and years and they seemingly haven't gained much traction. A big part of that in my opinion is they don't play well with others and basically throw that platform up and say figure it out on their terms like you said.
