  1. Newer model Denon (so Marantz, too) can output digital sources over Z2/Z3.
  2. You have an 9.2/11.2 setup in your master bedroom?
  3. That doesn't really make sense. A MAC address is typically a static address associated with a physical network interface. Are you talking about the IP address changing? If you don't have it configured as a static IP, it can (and will) change periodically. The best way to handle this is to configure a DHCP reservation on your router (or whatever you have that handles DHCP). This effectively "locks" the IP address to the MAC address of the Hopper which prevents it from changing (unless you physically get a new Hopper which will have a new MAC address).
  4. This seems like a bad long-term "solution."
  5. Sounds like you don't quite understand how the Unifi system works. You shouldn't install the controller on your computer. Like others have said, you should have installed a local controller (like a Cloud key), or host a multi-tenant Unifi controller in AWS, etc that ALL of your customers can use. The latter is what I prefer. My co-located multi-tenant controller hosts ~50 Unifi sites for multiple customers without any issues.
  6. Any other notable advantages of Luma over LTS?
  7. I believe using a Vera negates the need for the C4 Z-Wave dongle.. could be wrong though?
  8. This is unfortunate. Hopefully C4 fixes this, otherwise the feature is pretty useless for me.
  9. Sorry to hijack - but how does one adjust the EQ of the newer Triad AMS matrixes?
  10. Maybe a stupid question - but what shades are you using with the Rollease motors?
  11. More devices (200 over 50), keypads, fan control, more advanced programming, more repeaters, Maestro style switches - to name a few.
  12. Ok - yeah, I was curious if it was common for you to have to drill THROUGH the window frame or not.
  13. Would you by any chance be able to snap a picture of where the CAT6 comes out of the window/wall frame?
  14. What is this supposed to mean? UBNT Unifi WAP's (recent generations) are rock solid. If they aren't, you are doing something wrong.
  15. Just an update here. According to Lutron [1], official RA2 Select drivers are now available for C4! [1] https://forums.lutron.com/showthread.php/3739-Ra2-Select-Control4-drivers?p=19927&posted=1#post19927
  16. Is the UBNT WAP wired to the same switch that your Luxul AP's are using? This sounds odd.
  17. Interesting! I was wondering when SnapAV was going to start selling lighting control. I don't think this should slow down official support for RA2 Select in C4, though. EDIT: maybe it will slow things down.. I didn't realize that HouseLogix (who created the RA2 drivers) is actually owned by SnapAV. I'd say they are focused on their own integration with OvrC.
  18. Ugh - that sounds janky. Do you remember where you saw that? Hopefully there is an official driver/support coming soon.
  19. Has anyone actually integrated RA2 Select with C4, yet? If so, which driver is needed? I don't believe it's the same as normal RR2, but I could be incorrect.
  20. It's probably best if you don't double post the same question in multiple threads. It's confusing for people that are trying to respond to you.
  21. Ugh - yeah, I see that now. In any event, I think 50W should be sufficient for my application.
  22. There is a 70W version (EA-AMP-12D-70A) which is what I will be using. How much power are you looking for? 70W seems sufficient for most if not all needs if you are doing in-ceiling speakers.
  23. I'm not doing anywhere near 24 zones, but I'll likely be using the Triad AMS-8 paired with 1-2 Episode/SnapAV 12 channel amps (70W x 12ch). The Triad just seems to be the easiest "plug and play" solution at this point. If you are looking for the easiest/cheapest solution, I would consider getting an AMS24 and using the three amps that you already have. If you are looking for new amps, the Episode amps can be found for a decent price and they are fully featured (with triggers, bus input/outputs, etc).
