Or use the number keys.  1 = 10%, 2 = 20% and so on.  Nice little shortcut.

Yup - there's a POE version.  Definitely the better option if you can run the ethernet cable

Another option is using HDPE which is used in boats for backboards for electronics and other things.   It's easy to cut and would also make for a good backing plate.   Sometimes it's called Starboard.   Comes in White and Black and potential you can find other colors (eg Gray).   Will not discolor, rot, etc.   Could even paint to match siding.

Two versions.  One POE, one Wi-fi.

I use the Chowmain driver - works fine.  Driver licensing is per project.  You will need one box per zone, and they connect via wi-fi.  Be sure that your wi-fi coverage is good enough to reach all the boxes, especially if they are tucked away in a service closet or something.  Easy connection of the Intesis box into the CN105 port inside the Mitsubishi unit.

Intesis works well for me.  Only two zones, but it's been pretty much rock solid.  Scheduling through C4is a bit of a pain, but that's more a problem with the stat proxy than anything related to Intesis.

IP address has changed on your receiver.  Simple fix but you'll need a dealer to put it right.

I use alarm contact sensors to program off of for lighting. Open garage door to mud room and both garage and mudroom lights come on a 15 min timer, open the large garage door lights go on in garage, etc. So many options most people don't automate and just control mostly. When you start getting to this level it's night and day difference. My wife just the other day finally said she gets it and it is really super helpful to have all the automation we do (she's not a techie and let me get a robust c4 system out of love lol).

Zero lag with IRUSB. Other than waiting for the IRUSB app to load after the box reboots, control is instant.

Most likely an EDID problem.  Is the hdmi direct to your TV or through an AVR?

Watching this with interest.  I was in an AT&T store yesterday, and the remote for the box looks like the old DirecTV one.  I'm ready to scrap DirecTV and get something cheaper (which AT&T TV would be), but would like to know that it plays nicely with Control4.

Dealer of Record would have to be changed for another dealer to use remote access.  Not so if that dealer was sitting in your house on your wifi network.
In any event, Dealer #1 would never know if you changed your dealer of record.  He is not notified in any way.  The only way he would know would be if he tried to remote in, or subsequently looked at your project and saw changes.
My bet is that once you find your 'friendly online dealer' you will never go back to your original Dealer of Record.

And it should also be said... you can change your dealer as many times as you like over whatever time period you decide.    It's one of the things that you can control yourself from the customer portal.

I did the same the other day.  Had a Z2IO laying around so no cost there.  Found a spare remote in a drawer.  Only cost was a $15 magnetic sensor mounted to the rail/drilled to the door.  Works like a charm, and easy to program off.  MyQ can go and piss up a rope as far as I'm concerned.

Get a great remote dealer from this forum, and a copy of Composer HE.  Your new remote dealer will be more responsive/more skilled/cheaper/quicker/funnier/cooler, and Composer HE will give you some level of control and programming ability.
My strong recommendation - don't rip it out in frustration.  This system can do amazing things.  I would say that 90% of complaints like yours are fixed by :
    1. Minor programming tweaks
    2.  Some optimisation of the Zigbee mesh (Channel choice, location of devices etc)
    3. Some optimisation of router, wi-fi, general network.

So is mine.  It's rock solid, and yours should be too.
When you say 'out of sync' can you be a bit more specific ?  TV not turning on, or remotes not working etc ?
