Your frustration is misplaced, the person you SHOULD be blaming is the person who bought the driver for you… for not telling you how it works and also for not taking care of you.
FYI - DC doesn’t suck

msgreenf reacted to chopedogg88 in Digital Media issues after 3.4.1 on CA10 system
I've upgraded several systems to 3.4.1 and have not run into this issue, so my guess is that its something specific to your environment. Are you sure that all components (controllers, touchscreens etc) are on 3.4.1? I would probably recommend reflashing the controller to 3.4.1 and loading a backup. Perhaps something got corrupted during the update.

The licence key is assigned in the driverCentral website. What licence key are you talking about?

@Cranky Oldman Could you email me your controller snapshot to ~~~? I'll create a bug report for you and get someone to look into this.
Edit: Email redacted to reduce spam from web crawlers.

I have night mode on. The IP vs SDDP made the biggest change for me

Well, went over there and my 6 year old was watching a movie - that’s a good sign! The factory remote isn’t anywhere he could find it. I asked him when he came in if it was just black or a painting and he said it was a painting. Tuesday is one morning where I’m not up and about as early as normal so I’ll check again tomorrow. Hoping it had gone to sleep due to lack of motion, and he woke it up as he was milling around. Time will tell but I consider this a success so far!

Yes, a mesh is not supposed to be more then 75 devices

Frame TVs work okay as long as you identify them using their IP address, they have an issue with using SDDP as they sometimes (more often than not) come online with an "unknown-Mac" in their SDDP address.

this - as a very part time / hobby photographer I found taking a photo of a key element in the room better. For instance, we got some fancy "hand painted" dish on a vacation in Morocco and we use it on our kitchen island. I tossed some oranges/lemons/limes in the bowl and took a photo, done....For the master bathroom I put the purple LED lights on in the shower (its a steam shower and has colored lights) and took a photo of the shower stall with the door closed right after a steam so the glass is frosted, the lights on are behind with a cool glow, etc. For the garage you could even use a stock photo of your car(s) or something. In the gym I took a photo of two dumbbells laying on the floor, etc. Another idea, if you have a pet, take a photo of them on a couch or in a bed for a specific room, etc.
Taking a photo of the room is just going to look like junk or a really bad real estate listing.

As mentioned, I prefer one mesh from a central location to create a full-house mesh that includes all remotes. Based on your setup, I'd use the centra EA3 for that, do basically all main floor lights and 4-8 select lights on the other two floors, to get remotes there covered plus all remotes, then I'd use the EA3 upstairs for the rest of the top floor, the theatre ea for the rest of the basement.
Not true singular right or wrong way though, depends a lot on layout, construction material and so on.
And no you manually select what zigbee server to use, it doesn't automatically grab one.
