dcovach reacted to msgreenf in Greenfield Solutions project quick start
Greenfield solutions is excited to release our latest innovation: project quick start. This is a whole new way for dealers to think about starting a project. It's an agent that makes building out device and room hierarchies much quicker than manually double clicking a hundred plus times in a project. In our benchmarking, this can provide significant time savings.

dcovach reacted to ekohn00 in ShairBridge minimum requirements
I personally would upgrade based on performance alone, but you could just add an airplay device.
For other audio based reasons, I've been playing with Raspberry PIs. You could easily add a Raspberry Pi and load hifiberry, dietpi or RoPieee all good options for simple Pi config for audio, and all provide Airplay.

dcovach reacted to Darin, PM C4 CX Platform in Hue with 3.3 - Best Practices?
I passed the info about the new Push API from Hue to our drivers team and they said it is in their backlog to move in that direction with a future driver update, but couldn't give me a timeline on when to expect it since they had some other driver updates in front of it.

dcovach reacted to Cyknight in How to reboot?
Well....the one downside is that if you're rebooting because that main controller froze up, it is likely it won't work. Then again, no reboot driver would either.
In the end, the REAL solution is to remove the need to regularly re-load director.

Thanks Dan. Interestingly, I checked before I posted and both black and white were backordered. Now white is in stock! Crazy... Thanks for the heads up.
