I do miss the “4” button on the newer remotes!

Sounds like you have night mode (think that is what it is called) enabled.  If so, you can disable this in the settings on the Touchscreen itself.

It currently has the highest priority defect classification

This plus you will become tempted to make your project bigger and better and at some stage things slow down again and you want even more power (I am, sadly, at that stage). Maybe T5s and a CA11 would make me really happy in 2024 😂

I do something similar to what you want.. I switch between internal TV sound and in-ceiling speakers (a zone on my matrix).  This is how I do it:
 

After reading your thread a second time, I really do like the idea of having the two options separated into Watch and Listen. That makes sense and would be easy for my daughter to keep straight. I assume this process would work with the TV and its internal apps, as opposed to an external streaming box. 
I am going to talk to my daughter some more, but I think your plan has moved to the top spot of my options!

It may not necessarily be the C4 hardware with perhaps a root cause elsewhere in your network. For example, you may want to check your own internet connection if in case it is flip flopping or if your DNS provider (if not using the ISP) is experiencing problems. You will need to follow the chain to eliminate the possibilities.

You add an event on the driver page in monitoring and you add the code (script) in programming under voice scenes after choosing the relevant voice scene.

And if you use Alexa routines on top of the above, you can get commands like “Alexa, play U2 in the bedroom” to work.

I am sure I don't even need to say it, but Mitch is top notch Control4 programmer. You wont go wrong hiring him.
 

I second that - I’ve worked with Mitch for three years now and he has helped support our systems at two properties. Mitch is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, experienced, and very reasonable. He’s a pro and we’d be lost without him!

I'm in the same boat, creating a dashboard has allowed me to be able to view all of the many 'stats in play here (3 per room: air, underfloor and FCU intake) in a single view whilst giving the family an ability to oversee their own environment compartmentalised to their respective room. The need to condense all of this information in a way to allow them to use it was key in our residence. Nonetheless, quite interesting indeed to hear these differing views.

Correct.  It does.  Unfortunately, some devices (eg thermostats) are added to the view in every room when added to a project.  They also become the room temperature for all unconnected rooms (a very frustrating default in my view).

Hey Everyone,
thank you for your trust in me to help you with your systems over the years!  I have met and helped many great people and enjoy texting with you all.  I have never raised my rates since I started and I contemplated it last year and held off, but now I will need to raise my hourly rate starting 1/1/2024.  
But good news, you can pre-pay for hours at the lower rate if you know you have a project coming up (change will not impact inflight projects).
