I know it’s always a back and forth debate, like those that have already responded, but I love having video distribution in my home. A few friends of mine that just started with their systems also went the video distribution route. Nothing wrong with streaming boxes everywhere or Smart TVs, but I really like having everything centralized in one location. I have 11 TVs on a matrix with 7 TVs in my basement setup like a sports bar. Swapping sources between TVs and mirroring screens is great.

Autostart is usually based on programming on 'when current selected device changes', then IF current selected device = (source of choice) do this and that.
I'd be surprised but haven't tried if that works on 'if device is Plex' as the actual device is something else entirely but you'd have to try. As for doing it on Plex starting a movie vs being on the interface: no that isn't an option as there's for sure no trigger to base it on.

I was trying to get faster source switching times is why I separated it out to a matrix vs the AVR. Unfortunately didn’t really see any improvement on switching, but now it’s one of those why change it back. 
 
Yeah I guess I just like to know where I’m at for two reasons.
 
1) Others in the house. Sometimes I turn it up pretty loud and it bothers others in the house, or some things will fall off the walls. I had the room sound proofed as much as possible, but that bass still travels to the room above. 
2) Protect myself/equipment. Lol. Like mentioned in item 1 sometimes I’m inclined to make it really loud. Seeing it on screen helps me stay in line to an extent. 
 
The percentages on the app or the SR260 will work, was just nice to not have to look down while raising. Would be nicer if the percentages aligned more to each db change though as say 70% on my system can be approx -13.5 to -11.5. 
 
I guess something else I could do is set a max volume for the room or something else along those lines with experience buttons. 

in this configuration, it would not be possible. my personal use is always to listen to the volume and set it by ear. But also every interface I use gives me volume feedback so no need for it on screen if i need it for some other reason.
 

You need a core (not ea) for the generic zwave. But beyond that it should work. Yes.

I have a 31.45kw system here in VA. 70 panels on a ground mount about 500 ft from my house. I was paying 500-600 a month for electric by the time I did it that was only going up every year. I paid 80k for my system, got a 22k fed tax credit (it’s a credit not a deduction) that prevented me from having to pay 30k to the feds last year. I also get an 80k deduction on my real estate taxes for 5 yrs.
In 11 months I generated 42mw which paid me about 2.2k from SRECs that covers my yearly propane bill (main floor heat, cook top, tankless water heater, outdoor grill and 22kw generator). I haven’t had an electric bill at all since Jan 2022. Think we are expecting full return after all the tax breaks, SRECs, no bills around 9.5 years. Note it also increases the value of your home should you decide to sell prior to getting the return. 
 
All and all, I’ve been very happy with the investment and luckily I paid for it with stocks that are now currently in the toilet so I actually timed it well.

Upon further look it seems the C4 driver hasn't checked into Tankutility/pulled a reading since late in the evening Dec 14th.  Allow login in directly to Tankutility shows the Tankutility device itself has been checking in successfully daily. Display Diagnostics says there is no errors found.  Selecting the submit diagnostics options errors out.  So guess we will see what they say.

Just thought I’d throw in I’m using the Chowmain driver with Hikvision NVR. I have no issues at all getting live streams. 

Actually SOLID green on both is the default (not joined to network) indicator.
Flashing green may indicate not connected to network AND in mini app mode (possible, but you would normally only see this in a 'manual' upgrade from embernet to zigbee pro, or if there is some sort of failure in a major update of the system)
 
slow yellow (which is sometimes more greenish then yellow) usually means it's updating, it could be stuck in a loop
 
Either way, try doing a 15 tap on the top button, that'll reboot it, and may get it back.

If you have the log=-in infor for the C4 app, you can work with a remote dealer (there's several in the looking for integrator section) that may be able to help you though.
 
Oh sweet lord.... Do you know the brand? In many cases there ARE ways to get them reset, depending on manufacturer.

We were able to solve the problem.
The AVR is a new model Denon S960H mid-tier AVR.
The AVR has two monitor outputs.  The first one is 8K capable HDMI 2.1 and the second monitor out is 4K or 1080P I think. 
The HDMI cable that runs to the TV was installed in 2006 when the house was built, so it is quite old and can't easily be replaced.  It's also probably 50' long.
When we switched the HDMI cable to the Monitor 2 output (lower resolution) on the AVR, the problem went away and we're all good now.
It appears as though this had nothing to do with C4 and would have been an issue whether C4 was integrated or not.

My NVRs was Lilin and Hikvision, I have 2. I’m running the latest version of everything with an EA5v2

you go across 4sight, if you have the is locally accessible disabled on your camera driver.  the traffic routes to the control4 cloud and from the cloud down to your controller. If you have directly accessible meaning you have a public IP on your camera, then the mobile app will connect directly to that IP

Weird. NeverMind. It hasn’t been working for like 3 days and all of a sudden just started working again. 

Agree with Kwikset.  I have 6 in my project.  I had an issue with one of the locks and Kwikset was quick to replace it with a new one without any hassle.

And Im dumb.  In C4 the Default Dim Color property was checked and had a different color than the default color.  Modifying that fixed it.

yes, they shipped on 6/7 the 1 and 3.  The 5 ships next week I believe

This is great. For some items I’ve found myself defaulting to the manufacturers app because it would take so long for C4 app to open on my iPhone. Example looking at my security cameras, but now with this update I think I can go back to relying on C4 app vs doing some tasks in C4 and some in manufacturer apps.
