  1. Same here - via the Advanced DMX Driver from Domaudeo. Curious what you are using to power the circadian schedule?
  2. I think that tunable white with a circadian rhythm is ideal -- at least for us. We have strips in various parts of the house (toekicks, above cabinets, accents, etc) and it's nice having "cool" light in the mornings, and very "warm" light in the late night (when we walk into the bathroom at night, our toekicks glow ~2700k at a very dim level). I have color in some spots as well, but hardly ever use them.
  3. Ah! That was the issue. The new drivers were still bound to the old DMX engine. Thanks for the tip!
  4. I'm actually having a different issue. At first, I left the V2 "DMX Engine" master driver in place, and just used the V3 "Universal Dimmer" driver. Things worked as expected. I was able to control the loads using the new drivers, etc. Next, I replaced the V2 version of the "DMX Engine" driver with the new V3 version. In Composer, I connected the serial port of my controller to the new DMX engine. It shows online, etc. But, none of the loads are working. I can use the "All channels on" action of the driver and all of my lights do come on, but I'm unable to get individual channels to work via the other drivers. If I use the "Show DMX devices" action, every channel says "No device." I rebooted the DMX engine and the controller. Any ideas?
  5. What driver are you using? The drivers themselves need to be updated. Domaudeo's DMX driver hasn't been updated yet.
  6. Was Hue supposed to be to be fully supported by the new stuff on OS 3.3? I thought it was.
  7. This isn't true necessarily. This is a setting in Hue. You can configure Hue to come back on at the "previous setting" when a power loss occurs.
  8. You don't need a shelf. Rack ears will support the EA5 just fine. A C4 dealer on here may be able to get some ears for you.
  9. Terribly unreliable for me as well. Super annoying.
  10. Domeaudeo was already working on a new version to support the web view stuff, and I believe they are working on a new version to support the 3.3 features as well.
  11. This only works with specific hardware such as the Triad AMS audio matrix. What type of setup do you have?
  12. I have v322.18.0 of the iOS app and my director is a EA5-V2 running 3.2.1. I don't see the lightning bolt under the "Status" section of the app. Am I missing something?
  13. You don't need Luma to view streams on the app/OSD. You just need a camera that supports a sub-stream capable of C4 displaying (720p or whatever).
  14. Ah yeah, I missed "Response" - yup, these are not "dumb." I have one of the older Episode "dumb" amps in my project, but haven't used the Response series. For what it's worth, I also have Triad PAMPs for larger/more critical zones, and the difference in sound is very obvious between the older Episode amps and the Triad. The Triad sounds much better. I have compared them in the same zone with the same speakers.
  15. We're talking about "dumb" amps here. They don't interact with Control4 via programming at all. You use them with an external audio matrix. When did Yale quit making Control4 modules? This is the first I have heard of that. Their locks are still on the C4 website, etc. I use them at my house and they are full featured.
  16. It doesn't give you the "level" but it gives you "open" or "closed." It's "open" if it's not fully closed (half-way open, etc). That is good enough for me.
  17. This can be accomplished with a single physical sensor utilizing a magnet like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005H3GCW0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 I use these on all of my doors and they work great.
  18. "Dumb" garage motors. Run 2x CAT6 from a controller to each door. One to the motor its self, one to a sensor on the door.
  19. Disable PoE on the switchport that it's plugged in to
  20. Not sure how to describe it any better. There is a concept of "Advanced Lighting Scenes" in Control4 (it's an Agent). You can add lighting loads to scenes to control them.
  21. So, you don't used Advanced Lighting Scenes (ALS) in Control4 for your Hue loads? You just trigger Hue scenes by binding a scene to a keypad button using the Unilogic driver?
  22. Are you referring to defining scenes in Lutron and then using a phantom keypad button to trigger them in C4? I typically just stick Lutron loads in Advanced Lighting Scenes (ALS) in C4, and haven't really noticed the popcorn effect too much. My system is RA2 Select, though.
  23. Thats a lotta bulbs and hubs! I don't have nearly as many (maybe 15-20), but I typically just add them into advanced lighting scenes (which typically mix Hue+Lutron lighting). Are you saying you create scenes in Hue and then just activate them in C4?
  24. The RGB2's problem is that it doesn't support CCT or two white channels (warm/cool) in an intuitive way. Otherwise, it's great.
