  1. Ah yeah, this is an OEM from Sunricher I believe. This is one I have been looking at. There are several other folks that sell this exact same thing (example).
  2. Which DMX decoder(s) are folks using that have been reliable? There are a lot of cheap, poorly manufactured decoders on the market now, and I'm trying to figure out a reasonably priced decent option.
  3. Which "Power Off" mode do you use? "Art Mode," "Art Mode (No app)", or "Power Off?
  4. I don't think the C4 amp/matrix has a pre-amp, so if your turntable doesn't have one built-in, you will need an external one.
  5. If only you could target specific channels in programming (eg, "Turn on Hulu TV, then tune into NBC") with Roku. I *really* wish this was possible.
  6. More so, you will also want a list of MACs associated with any DHCP reservations you have on your old router, so that you can re-create them on your new router.
  7. I'm finding that my announcements work like 25% of the time. They will work fine for a while, and then just randomly stop. Not something I have been able to dig into yet, but I'm using native C4 audio+Triad matrix, etc. I thought it may be a timing thing (announcement fires before the amps turn on, etc), but not sure. I added a delay to the announcements, but it hasn't fixed it.
  8. Yes - I understand that.. sorry I meant "logical" devices not "physical" devices.
  9. Ahh - so the room just has two Roku devices, one for "watch" one for "listen." Got it, I'll give this a try. Thanks!
  10. Here is the scenario: Master bedroom has a TV that has a local active soundbar. Source is always Roku Ultra. Master bedroom also has in-ceiling speakers that are a WHA zone (Triad matrix). When watching normal TV, we prefer the sound is output from the local active soundbar (not the in-ceiling speakers). But, for some content (Peloton classes, etc), we want the audio to be sent back through the matrix and be output through the in-ceiling speakers. I know that at minimum I need a DAC (output from the Roku's optical out), and a balun (location has a spare CAT6). Will probably use something like this. But, what is the best way to switch between soundbar audio and WHA audio for the Roku source? Will I need a separate room with a separate audio endpoint? Is there a cleaner way to handle this?
  11. The Domaudeo DMX drivers are really full featured - especially for CCT/tunable white, which is great. With that being said, I'm still experiencing issues with random "flickering" that I have not yet been able to resolve. I've replaced nearly everything at this point. Some others are also experiencing similar flickering. I don't think you can use an ethernet switch to distribute DMX. I could be wrong. There are numerous "wireless" DMX decoders that you can use if you need. Some are discussed on this forum. Yes - any combination of strips can be used. A 5channel decoder can support anything up to RGBWW (5 channels). A 5 channel decoder could also drive 5 single color strips.
  12. But Control4 chose to acquire Neeo, thus they chose the design somewhat. Right?
  13. I think a second controller for your garage may be overkill if all you're doing is using it for the garage door openers. Instead, consider supplementing your RA2 Select (also consider RA3 for a new build) switches/dimmers with C4 keypads. C4 keypads are *great* for triggering lighting scenes (even Lutron ones), controlling media, other fun and useful automations (like Hello/Goodbye/etc), etc. They also are Zigbee repeaters which enhance your Zigbee mesh. This is important since you are using Lutron for lighting. Keypads really really enhance a C4 install and make it more usable. You can also get wireless keypads that include a lighting load. Once you have established a strong mesh, you may consider just using Z2IO's for your garage door controls.
  14. I mean 16 AWG cable with 4 conductors (for 2 speakers). For in-ceiling speakers, I typically run 16/4 to a room, split out 2 conductors at the "first" speaker, loop the cable, and then continue the run on to the "second" speaker.
  15. You may have trouble with anything larger than 14awg. I typically use 16/4 for WHA zones.
  16. You can connect all four outputs of the EA5 (2 analog, 2 digital) to inputs on your Triad Matrix. You then connect each input from your Triad PAMP to corresponding outputs on the Triad Matrix. This configuration allows you to have 4 unique music streams playing at once in any number of zones. Make sense?
  17. It's 2022 - you can just stick it on a VM! No need to install it on another partition.
  18. I went with RA2 Select, and I'm glad I did for reasons that you highlighted. I would probably go with RA3 now (drivers should be available soon). I really don't like the look of the C4 switches, but that has improved (in my opinion) with the new contemporary line. The RA3 dimmer bars look super cool, though. I supplement Lutron with C4 keypads in several locations. They activate lighting scenes on Lutron loads, give me "Away" buttons, provide media control, operate shades, etc. If you do choose Lutron, I would highly recommend doing the same. C4 switches do act as Zigbee extenders (probably the wrong term) and make your mesh stronger which you will lose if you go with Lutron. But, this has not been a problem for me because I have C4 keypads in a few select locations. You also don't get the programmable LEDs on the C4 switches or the double/triple tap programming that you would get if you had C4. Overall, I'm very happy with Lutron, and it's been rock solid - both functionality-wise and in it's integration with C4. With that being said, I do believe C4 lighting is one of their core strengths and I'm not sure you would not be disappointed either way.
  19. You made an assumption that he was trying to use Pro. Not sure why, although not surprised. @Vandak Yes - it’s common for dealers here on this forum to work with DIYers. They can sell you Composer HE which gives you quite a bit of programming functionality. @chopedogg88comes highly recommended.
  20. No, I don't believe so. But, I also think it uses LEAP, so it shouldn't been too long before we see an "official" driver since RA2 Select and Caseta use the same protocol from what I understand.
