  1. No, it's not possible, and it's very annoying. Control4 should really try to figure out a way to fix this. It's the same with Control4 fan controls as well.
  2. As far as I know, Josh.ai is *only* available in the US and Canada for now.
  3. I'm not sure what you're asking, but given the choice, the PAMP8-100 for sure.
  4. I can see how this is very frustrating for you. I wouldn't be happy. Does your old dealer no longer have a BW account? Seems like he should be able to help you out..
  5. I have a T3 that is on Wifi because the CAT6 was damaged, and I cannot really tell the difference. It has a good WiFi signal though, so YMMV.
  6. I use several of the Amcrest wireless IP cameras for things like this (kids rooms, etc). They work great with Blue Iris and I typically integrate them directly with C4 using @msgreenf's Amcrest driver. They are NOT battery powered though.
  7. The OP said "DHCP reservations." I believe you are both talking about the same thing.
  8. I'll have to look when I get home, but I think the Synology DLNA server does have a manual "refresh" button somewhere.
  9. It would be helpful if you stated the manufacturer and the model(s) in question.
  10. You want the "Roku TV" driver (which is separate from the normal Roku driver): https://www.blackwiredesigns.com/store/roku-tv-ip/ Yes, this driver will control power+volume.
  11. These are great, especially if you also need a DAC: https://www.xantech.com/product/audio-over-cat-cable-built-dac-XT-CAT-ARC-KIT
  12. #1 - Your dealer most likely wants to sell you Araknis, because that is where the best margin for him is (he makes the most money). It's also what he's likely the most familiar with, and the most comfortable supporting. #4 - Your subwoofer's amp would be connected to a dedicated output on your audio matrix. You can then "'pair" the subwoofer zone with an actual room's zone in the Triad matrix programming.
  13. TCL Roku TV for sure. I tend to stick to the 5 series+, but even the cheaper ones are fine in most areas. I have several in non-critical viewing areas (bathrooms, kids play rooms, etc) and they have been fantastic. C4 control is rock solid with the Roku TV driver on Blackwire.
  14. Sounds like your dealer may not know what he's talking about, or he's feeding you bs. Besides that, I cannot imagine being a C4 user and NOT using/having the app! I think you're missing out.
  15. Oh, yeah - you're right. I obviously haven't done it in forever
  16. Check this out: https://www.control4.com/docs/product/spotify/user-guide/english/latest//spotify-user-guide-rev-a.pdf To make Spotify playlists available in the Control4 interface, you need to "favorite" them in the Spotify app.
  17. Same here. It's very frustrating and happens at the worst times.
  18. @Darin, C4 PM UI It looks like the alignment issue was corrected, but one of my T3's is still "stuck" on indoor temperature. Progress, though!
  19. Probably so. I think I heard C4 is releasing combo decora/contemporary plates, but that sounds like a mess. How many different combinations would they need to make to satisfy everyone?
  20. I'm sure people would pay for a more capable driver (oh, hey there @alanchow!). It would be nice if C4 just fixed the native driver though.
  21. If it worked well for a while, but now doesn't - you probably have other issues like self interference, etc.
  22. Any new recommendations for decoders? This one has been recommended: https://www.holidaycoro.com/30-Channel-DMX-Controller-for-RGB-Lights-12v-DC-p/43.htm I like that it's 30 channels. I'm planning on using it for several RGB+WW strips. Any obvious issues with this one and other things that I should consider? Also - for the RS232 cable that connects the ES box to a controller (EA5-V2), will a standard DB9 cable work? Do I need to remove the 4th pin?
  23. Ah - cool, I currently use programming to set the screensaver to "none" or "blank" (whichever it is) after a certain period of time.
