Basically looks like it's going to have the functions of the phone app with some hard buttons. As long as it is quick and not over priced I think it might be decent.
I probably could glue a ATV remote on the back and have Siri "built" in.

Would add Alan's TP-Link Kasa driver to the list of great drivers already mentioned above.

Also by the very little info given by the OP it sounds like he might by using the ISP supplied equipment as well. If it was his network equipment the only thing Comcast would be messing with is the cable modem.
Maybe the OP should have a proper network setup?

KWD got a reaction from msgreenf in Low Voltage outdoor lighting question
I plan on plugging my transformer directly into a Kasa outlet since no plug in outlets will fit into a outdoor waterproof box. Hard wiring to a C4 switch is what I would do if Kasa didn't make an outlet. Chowmain driver works great with Kasa.

Have the TP-Link driver bound to a Outlet Light driver? I just put 5 in today and they all work great.

Running Blue Iris on a VM in a Linux box. There is a lot you can do with the software, very flexible and should work with just about any IP camera. Also has a iOS app that works pretty will.

Unifi USG router is what I use on all my systems and have had good success. Oh and a Cloud Key of course.

KWD got a reaction from msgreenf in Wireless Doorbell
Just installed a Ring with the Blackwire driver. It all works very well together, almost no delay to C4. Wasn't a fan of having to use another app and their subscription service, but it;s pretty slick.
