Neo1738 reacted to lippavisual in All my T4s reboot almost daily and just reset the room to the default settings until you change rooms back and forth
Have you had a remote dealer look at the system?  If the T4’s were ID’d by IP address, I wouldn’t be surprised if other items in your project are done the same (especially your controller running director) when they aren’t supposed to be ID’d like that.
Some other things that could cause problems:
    - you could have some IP conflicts with devices.
    - your network isn’t working efficiently.
    - setting your T4’s to go back to the default room after screensaver. You can check this yourself on the T4 in its settings.
    - paying your dealer anything without any resolve.  Unless they didn’t provide or install your equipment?  This should all be covered by that companies warranty.

I remember you posting of issues before, I’d suggest to start working with someone else who’s more knowledgeable.  It’s not the products fault (98% of the time), it’s the way it’s been installed and/or designed.

I have also noticed if Auto Answer is selected on any TS if you call all TS that one will pick up no matter what. I get the purpose but maybe only AA when selected alone would be better. Otherwise if family is around the house and I'm in my man cave/bonus/office than I need to find them and use that room specifically.

I’ve a long history of complaints and mounting frustrations from my 3x Neeo’s, rarely used them because of these issues, decided to take another step towards fixing things, reading and spending time on UniFi forums, I toke one of their Early access Firmware releases 6.5.33 -> 6.5.37, zero tweaks, Neeo’s are connected and remain connected for 2-3 weeks now! Never happened before!
Conclusions, you need a networking and RF PhD to have Neeo’s work, but when they do it’s a bless!

As posted above, on February 3,  I moved my NEEO to a different AP, one that I figured would be worse in every way, especially since it is further away. And now, eight days later, I have had zero problems. So weird.

My Home doesn't exist for OS 3.X.. I don't think Control4 is available in the Windows 11 Android store (amazon), but, as an alternative, you can use Bluestacks to run the Android version (as it has play store). On some phones, you can also integrate your phone with Windows 11 and run the phone app on your computer

Neo1738 reacted to fleon in Time based motion sensor delay is terrible
It's a CA10, and there's no delay if there isn't a if time is between conditional.   As to the LED warmup - it's way way slower than that.  Even if I try it at 100%, it still has that huge delay.
@South Africa C4 user I'll try doing it with a variable.
@msgreenf I don't think so.  If that were true, I'd be getting that same delay when there's no "if time is between" conditional.  The nyce motion sensor turns the light on immediately if there's no time conditional.

Best thing to do is have another dealer with Pro look at:
    Programming Summary tab
look at bindings - this will tell the story of how it’s setup

I also don't think anyone has stated it but delays should not be used for motion automation. They will not achieve the correct results you should use a timer or the appropriate driver.

It will only hold up programming in the same event.  If the event triggers again, I don't recall what happens, whether all the programming waits on the first delay or if it all executes up to the delay a second time.  I don't particularly want to test it...
If you do a 15 minute trigger on a particular event (let's say a motion sensor sensed motion), and you have other programming on a different event (say, a custom button triggered by a remote, or a *different* motion sensor sensing motion, etc.), it will execute normally.

Motion detectors are great.  Aside from the security benefit, they really help automation shine.
You make some good points regarding Video distribution.

This.  You need to figure out why you're transcoding in the first place.  Once that is fixed, you won't have issues.

I haven’t had any issues with my stuff. I’m running Plex on a synology ds918+. I use both Nvidia Shields and second gen FireTV Cubes. However one thing I do have to do is ensure I select the correct audio track or I have issues. Ex in my theater I can play Atmos tracks, but if I stream the same movie on a TV that is not Atmos enabled I do get video play back issues. If I switch to a lesser audio track the video streams without issue. Something to try if you rips have multiple audio tracks.

Neo1738 reacted to Topspin14m in Outdoor TV with Audio for Pool Area
I think that the Samsung Terrace Partial Sun is the best outdoor tv at the moment, when factoring in cost. The one downside to it versus a Seura (that I’m aware of) is that it is IP55 vs IP56 rated. In reality that probably doesn’t make a huge difference, but the Terrace can only withstand low pressure jets of water (vs. high pressure).

As I said earlier, the only technical difference between the Terrace full sun and partial is the heat dissipation (and a lot of weight). They both max out at the same brightness. I haven’t had an issue with the partial sun version and heat even on a roof with direct sunlight.

For me, I wanted something reliable that could withstand the New England winter while also not costing $10,000. The Terrace has completely lived up to my expectations.

I think like everything it matters on what is important to you. For example we initially didn't do automatic blinds in the upstairs bedrooms and quickly added them after (luckily my installer preran a bunch of extra cat5e into the attic). Also if you do whole home audio I think video distribution is a very nice to have. I can play my show and if I need to run to another room for a couple minutes I quickly add the audio to the zones and I'm off. I can listen to the TV in any room. We also have a large kitchen and den off the kitchen, without adding the kitchen zone to the den zone I couldn't hear the TV from the kitchen.

I never thought I would need motion sensors but man you put them in the right spots (especially stairs, bathrooms, etc) and it's so convenient. Also we do when night time the light turns on to like 25% so you don't get blinded at night. Works so well when integrated properly.
I think some form of voice is helpful (alexa turn on breakfast, dinner, cooking, entertain, etc) is so quick and easy. I can get lights on without taking stuff out of my hands and walking to the TS or my phone or a switch.

Bond bridge only necessary if you have devices that don't integrate to C4 naturally and do work with bond.
I also agree in the end that AV integration and being able to combine all the features (lights, AV, shades, door locks, etc) into 1 automation is pretty sweet. Doorbell pressed, pauses my tv changes input to the NVR doorbell cam, if night turns on lights to the front door, turns porch light from 30% (normal night mode) to 100% on a timer to go back after 5 min etc. If "bedtime" is active doorbell does not turn all that on just goes through the phones and TS as normal.

Neo1738 reacted to RyanE in TCL Roku TV IP driver available?
Just for clarification, it's not a drawback of the Control4 Roku TV driver, it's a drawback of the Roku API, which Control4 has no control over.
If the API had discrete volume available, the driver would as well.
Maybe you were using a different term for driver, but in Control4-land, that means the driver running in Director.

Andrew Luecke's post got me thinking (thank you).
The triggering of sirens in controlled by the DSC security panel NOT Control4 programming.  I went into the Zone Attributes for the zones in question and for some reason the "BELL AUDIBLE" and "BELL STEADY" were both set to OFF.

No issues at all with the family being able to run it. I do something’s to make it easier for my daughter for example. I’m her room I limit navigator to only certain sources in the matrix vs all of them.  For example her experience is a single cable box to select vs choosing between the 4 different ones available. This also helps me as well to prevent source stealing without actually locking users out of using the source. With my daughter I always know if she is home my 4th cable box could be in use by her, so I wouldn’t watch something I really want to see on that cable box in case she connected and tried to change the channel on me.
