    Hi Chris,

    Are you on IOS14?

The intercom anywhere all has been updated to support apple call kit v2.

Please make sure your intercom anywhere app is updated too.

Due to security reasons and changes from
Apple you won’t see video till you answer the call on your phone and press the video button

    Thanks
    M

Zigbee 3 module for all the goodies out there

More flexible GUI with HTML5 pages (floor pan etc)

Web based control for PC via Browser

Web based media management, like Emby or plex

Compatibility for European system 55 faceplates with matching KeyCaps - Noone buys the current line because it just doesn't blend in and it does not have options for 3 or 4 way gangs - it's just a little plastic piece come on!!

Just thinking about it - how about a car play C4 app to access gates, garage doors, alarm etc.

    Think that would be great

I did not "ditch" it, but almost. I use Lutron for lights and shades, Ecobee thermostats, Airplay2/Sonos for sound, and HomeKit to integrate it all. C4 is pretty much an expensive TV remote. I do use it for some automation (motion sensors).
It was an easy decision for me. I watched my family use our tech, based on C4, for 4 years. The only C4 equipment they used was the SR-260 remote (and the HC-250, later an EA-3 of course driving it). Perhaps it was just happenstance that I bought receivers that embraced Spotify and Airplay, but my family never used C4 audio. They airplay'ed right out of the music app. They "spotified" right out of the Spotify app -- and got instance gratification. Whereas "shairbridge" and C4 was a complete bust along with the C4 app. It looked cool, having all those Airplay targets but it was too delayed, or too glitchy, or it just didn't work. The whole time Airplay, Spotify Connect, and other network based sources worked great if you took C4 out of the mix.
They still like to hit the red button and oooh and ahhh over the OSD occasionally. But with the crazy number of channels, even the 260 (and NEEO) are often on the sidelines. They'll grab a voice remote instead.

    Congratulations, you've discovered Feature Flags...

Feature flags are a mechanism that allows Control4 to release new features that *should* only appear for users in particular categories (development / beta / production), and *should* not be enabled unless they're specifically enabled for that release category.
On the Neeo remote, for example, we use feature flags during a feature development, and then 'turn it on' once it's passed all tests, etc.  Eventually, we update the code to remove the requirement for the feature flag.
Feature flags have a *lot* of advantages, in terms of being able to make last-minute decisions as to whether to include or not include a feature, because the feature is in the build much sooner than it is released.  If we find last-minute issues with a feature, we don't have to make a new build to 'not release' that feature.
Feature Flags are integral to Control4's updated release cadence.  For example, the Neeo remote does a release nearly every 2 weeks.  If every feature had to be inserted / removed from the build any time it's status changed, we couldn't do that.
Unfortunately, you have discovered the downside... If someone fumbles the feature flag, users in production may see the feature / part of the feature, and it may or may not work...  It looks like someone made a mistake and likely had a feature flag turned on for production that should not have been, and the feature didn't work due to reliance on an update elsewhere.

@time2jet, I beta-tested the driver for a few weeks in July, and I'm still using it almost every day.  Quick summary:  multi-zone playback works pretty well, even though it is not bulletproof.  Moreover, as long as you avoid grouping zones in the Roon app -- and do it only through C4 -- it's quite stable indeed.
As you noted, the new driver is especially useful for those of us on Sonos.  I can finally access my full library, Tidal, and Qobuz, entirely from a T3 touch screen.  For that convenience, I'm willing to live with a few minor bugs, and I'm hoping they'll iron these remaining issues out in a future release.
Finally, the HDMI binding did work for me, although I only tested it once.  (I don't use the HDMI binding, because my Nucleus is connected via USB to a DAC.)

Zappiti is my current favourite.  I’ve been developing drivers for media players for years and this is just plug and play with automatic library management integrated into Control4 for selection on any Control4 navigator.
Supporting almost all video and audio formats, codecs and file containers, including all modern video standards such as HDMI 2.0, Ultra HD 4K, HDR, 3D subtitles and HEVC video codec with one billion colors (10-Bit color encoding), the Zappiti 4K HDR media player range sets an entirely new standard.
The top class Zappiti Duo 4K HDR is equipped with an internal 3.5" SATA HDD bay with hot swap function for huge total capacity (up to 32 TB) and offers powerful Wi-Fi 5G and Ethernet gigabit network capability.
The Zappiti 4K HDR media players are compatible with most audio and video formats such as UHD ISO, BD ISO, M2TS, MKV 4K, MVC 3D with 3D subtitles, BD and UHD menus support, home theater audio (including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X) and high-resolution lossless audio files

Agree totally - I have a motion sensor in every room.
This gives me total lighting and fan control. I do NOT have every motion sensor tied to the alarm system. The carbon monoxide sensors and glass breakage sensors are all tied to the alarm.
We have not used the switches we put in more than 100 times in the 8 years we have lived in the house. Everything is automatic. Including closets.

They is a c4 driver ~ so you set them up in the app and then tell the app they are to be controlled by a hub ~ c4 then can connect to them.

great for blinds in guest rooms and small windows
