    @pkkaiser  I believe what you have to do is use the new "DMX Universal Dimmer" driver.  Configure it for RGB or RGBW.
    In the Red DMX channels enter it as follows [1,4,7]
    In the Green DMX enter it as [2,5,8]
    In the blue DMX channels enter it as [3,6,9]

    You'll have to calculate your Red, Green and Blue channels accordingly.  But if you do that, you can then use the color wheel to control everything with one control.  I believe this is what you're after.  I have 7 DMX separate zones using RGBW and a total of 35 channels and this worked for me. I hope this helps.

    What driver are you using?  The drivers themselves need to be updated.  Domaudeo's DMX driver hasn't been updated yet.

    This isn't true necessarily.  This is a setting in Hue.  You can configure Hue to come back on at the "previous setting" when a power loss occurs.

    I can't imagine basing a home design on Philips Hue. That's not asking for trouble, it's demanding it.

    I have v322.18.0 of the iOS app and my director is a EA5-V2 running 3.2.1.  I don't see the lightning bolt under the "Status" section of the app.  Am I missing something?

    Triad and the Episode amps we’re discussing are passive. They don’t have intelligence for programming or authentication.

    "Dumb" garage motors.  Run 2x CAT6 from a controller to each door.  One to the motor its self, one to a sensor on the door.

    The RGB2's problem is that it doesn't support CCT or two white channels (warm/cool) in an intuitive way.  Otherwise, it's great.

    Strip channels - always.  Especially if you're doing toekicks.  I may not do them on top of cabinets.

    I mounted my toekick lights facing the back of the cabinet to reduce the glare on the floors (I have shiny flooring).  I also tried the 90deg aluminum channels which worked well, but ultimately I redid them all in regular aluminum channels facing the cabinet.

    LollerAgent reacted to RAV in Can a room's volume be muted and unmuted programatically?
    What I do....
    Using a Music button on keypads, when pressed if room is off, match this room to that room based on a hierarchy, if no other rooms are on, play xyz in this room, if room on swtich to other favorite.
    Now if another room presses, it matches the xyz as that was the last valid selection.
    Bedroom suites match to each other.
    Common areas to kitchen, living, outside etc.

    Personally, I find that the track last button is more confusing for most of my clients, with some undesirable side effects, and generally try to just leave up/down arrows for volume control.

    Unsure what we're allowed to disclose at this time in the public forums unfortunately, but the new beta has began distribution to dealers (for internal testing).
    Because the TPLink driver was written a lot time ago though, the entire TPLink package was rewritten and simplified though as part of the upcoming beta. The biggest change in TPLink V2 (which uses the same licencing as V1) is that there are far less drivers dealers need to install, better support for future products, new light driver, a provisioning system for easy setup, and a generic outlet driver which should work for all outlets (instead of 10 different outlet drivers). There are also many other improvements on the backend.

    C4 native audio here.
    EA5 Digital/Analog outputs -> Triad AMS24 inputs.
    Triad AMS24 outputs -> Triad PAMP/Episode amps.
    Several other things in my house are used as sources and are fed into inputs on the AMS24 including audio return from a few TV's, audio output from dedicated 5.1+ HT zones, etc.
    I also run AMS24 outputs -> HT 5.1+ zones input so that my dedicated 5.1 zones can serve as WHA zones and play C4 native audio if needed.

    I thought long and hard before commenting on this as I know some won’t appreciate what I have to say.  Honestly, I love C4 and honestly, this sort of comment from a C4 employee makes me cringe.  I have no idea what customer service is like in the states, but if one of my employees made a comment like this on a public forum, I would de-authorise him from making any public comments with regard to my brand.  In fact, a comment like this would be a dismissible offence at our company as it would be in breach of our social media policy.
    Please don’t get me wrong.  That does not mean that I would never cancel someones contract… I would (and have) under certain circumstances.  However, I would not go around making public threats about doing it, I would simply do it IF the circumstances warranted it.

    I fall squarely in the 3rd category and would gladly pay an annual fee much higher than $200-$300 for the ability.  On the other hand I would probably be divorced because I would be spending a lot more on new equipment and the system wouldn't always work because its in the middle of an upgrade 😆
