Look for Sperry West (also branded Spyder) cover cameras - these are commonly carried by ADI in north america. They should have the ability to turn of remote management and you can force set a blank or fake DNS so internet access is unavailable to begin with (alterntatively, just connect it direct to an NVR....)
They'll have both analogue and IP versions - I mention that because a lot of resellers seem to put all covert cameras under analogue, eventhough they carry IP ones.....

Anyone have the documentation for the C4 - Hayward Omnilogic driver.  Just about to get a home delivered with both and I'd really like to understand what functions on pool control and the color logic lighting will be available in C4 programming.

I don't remember when it happened, but at some point Control4 started saving the shuffle setting with the playlist. So I was able to remove all of the workarounds. Now the playlists shuffle by default. Make sure shuffle is on when you save the playlist, and it should be enabled (and cause a reshuffle) the next time you start it. 

No, no issues syncing wise.

Controller outputs are synced as such: if you have a controller connected to the same or near enough the same switches/amplifiers in both locations, you should be just fine.
What the sync issues are usually related to is if there are large differences i the setup/wiring. For example, are you feeding audio into a combination a/v matrix then to an amp on one end, and doing controller outputs directly to amplifiers on another end? If so, there's certainly the chance of the actual sound not being perfectly in sync. This may not be an issue if it's a separate building/isolated area, but if (for example) you're adding a zone in the bar from your new setup, and have one in the seating area in front of the bar from the old setup.....

I am considering doing this, but my concern is with the possibility for delay. Do you have any delay with this setup?

I think I am using the Motorola QIP-6416-1 IR-based driver to control the Verizon TV One.  Would prefer an IP-based driver, but it has been working for the most part.

Also with the latest carrier firmware for their stats the system responds to c4 changes almost instantaneously!!

Development is still underway. Definitely not dead. We've been in a private beta for about 6 weeks and have had folks testing, providing feedback, and/or meeting with us on a screen share.

I updated to v124, and I am happy to report the controller reboot bug seems to be gone!

I usually just run the local sources into a TV, and use the optical out on the TV to the Jtech, over cat5/6 to the rack, and into Triad matrix / amp. 

Done tons of digital audio baluns from TVs back to distributed audio and have never had issues with delays.  Audio quality out of a TV output will never be great but for your typical pair of in celing speakers in a house audio system it's fine. 

We always used https://www.blustream.com.au/cat100au . Low latency, no quality loss.

Hey dealers, have a favour to ask of ya’ll.
Because the new media proxy allows device specific transport controls, can you please nudge C4 to update the native AppleTV driver to support the TV/Home button and a long press of the TV/Home button (reveals the tvOS control panel for easy airplay and user settings)?
These button presses are supported natively, as they can be programmed into the remote UI using custom buttons. And surprisingly there is already a home button in the AppleTV media controls but it doesn’t seem to do anything on the 10 AppleTV installations we have. The custom button solution works in the meantime, but its not ideal as they exist outside the media proxy and a user has to hit the Neeo’s Home button to leave the AppleTV’s transport controls and return to the remote’s home page, then swipe to reveal the remote’s custom buttons. I’ve had to teach this to all our family members, but its just not that intuitive.
So please fire C4 a feature request or driver update email and let them know this would be a great quality of life update for AppleTV users. Thank you!
