Scenario:
Have 9 ceiling fans with lights, and they all have remotes. Some are original manufacturer, some are generic on/off universal. All the them only have a single light switch, so from the switch you don’t have control over the fan vs the light. I had thought there really wasn’t anything I could do to integrate these into my system other than overall on/off by swapping the light switch, then having to use the remote to control if I wanted the fan and light on, etc. 
Forum to the rescue:
I browse the forum pretty often for new ideas. Saw an older thread talking about Bond, and figured I’d give the Bond Bridge a shot although I was worried the advertised 2.5k sq ft of coverage wouldn’t be enough for my home size. Got the Bridge last week for less than $100, got the Chowmain driver and now they are all integrated into my system and working perfectly!  
 
Definitely wanted to advertise the success of the 2 items in combination in a large home. Time will tell if I have any connection issues or anything like that in the future, but as of right now I’m super excited these are now integrated. 

Aftermarket with a design to integrate and retain most of the factory oem controls.   And look factory.  They are very car model specific as the factory audio and climate harnesses plug and play with the screen. It’s not just a screen as it has a full radio integrated.

We use with no issues on our T3 touch Screens

I talked to C4 today. They know about the bug and it is patched in the next release. 
 
Internally they have the next release ready but no confirmed date on when it will be available for customer use. 

The “pitch” is a dealer can lose their license but giving you access to composer Pro
dealers - especially some good ones on this forum - can sell you hardware, set up your system, and sell you composer home edition where you can do about 95% of your own programming - just can’t add hardware, do bindings and drivers on your own

Good question... it’s a magic show... about once a month Control4 reveals the button and teases us with its use... then they hide it away again for a month.  At some stage in the not too distant future we will be awed by the big reveal!

MOIP = Media over IP, some brands like wyrestorm call this HDoverIP (HDOIP) 
sorry to nit pick, didn't want OP to get confused if they google VOIP
Also my 2 cents, I prefer araknis over pakedge ESP the routers they have more functionality and a firewall you can actually adjust.

Not sure if allowed to post about this so please delete if necessary.
I just wanted to send out an invite to a new FaceBook group (Control4 Community UK) I created with the intention of increasing communication and collaboration between C4 dealers and end-users in the UK.
This is primarily aimed at partnering UK dealers with end-users to generate mutual partnerships along with the discussion of integration requests and solutions that may bring the two together.
I'm aware there are lots of new dealers on the scene who could benefit from a bit more visibility and lots of end-users who have older systems no longer maintained by their original installer or they may not even be around to support the system any more. Likewise, there are also lots of people who inherit C4 system with the purchase of a property and have no idea where to turn to get the system working as desired and ongoing support put in place.
It is primarily aimed at UK based dealers and end-users but all are welcome.

Masking tape and a rattle can of silver paint?

Just finished installing a Ring Doorbell at my Parents House - Great Camera and it only cost me £89 including the
Chime Speaker - Makes my DS2 Camera look very out dated 

Worth every penny if the natural language processing works.  Anyone have feedback on this?  I hate how specific commands have to be for Alexa. Renders voice control useless for me.   

Given the investment is seams @TundraSonic has in C4, and the fact that his high security environment may restrict good support to his C4 setup for many years to come, I will say it again that it might be best for him to invest in a second firewall and simply separate the work network for his wife. Doing so will enable him to easily get the combined network/C4 support he might need. That said, I have never given my C4 dealer access to my network, including firewall or switches. I do simple management of my network myself and I have professional services monitoring all aspect of my network. In over 12 years, there has never been a network issue that we could not identify, isolate and resolve through monitoring and packet capture. One does not need C4 experience to ensure the network itself is functioning properly and not unintentionally restricting, blocking, or holding up traffic. My dealer gets access to C4 via a computer in my rack that I have to personally give him access to via teamviewer. Has always been solid.

If anyone needs help Muj was amazing and spent 1.5 hours and fixed my whole system. The place I bought it from spent 5 mins and wanted to call me again Monday. Thanks Muj! Great knowledgeable help

Would highly recommend the Chowmain driver. @chopedogg88just set me up with it and it works well for all the Christmas trees around the house. Just make sure to note the new and very small WiFi Smart Plug is not compatible. Presumably @alanchowand company will update it due time. 

We had this issue on 3.2, however after upgrading to 3.2.1 we have no issues- Using a HC800

Look C4/Snap never say they done anything wrong - announcements on T3 touch screens (Plus a load more bugs) never said it was a issue - even Mr Beta Tester - Said I was talking rubbish 
However a update lateter and £50 extra to my dealer they work - God HELPS us End User 

Yep - it’s gone now. That explains why I didn’t get any calls from my doorbell last night. Time to reinstall the intercom app. 
 
They really should communicate this stuff. Pretty terrible experience.
