Amr got a reaction from BY96 in Apple TV & IP Control
So am not sure I understand this, as long as there is a dealer with ComposerPro he can remotely log in to your system and do this job, this doesn’t have to be on-site!
Also try opening a case with C4, this might not get u any where but at least try it they might log in to ur controller and may, just may be able to provide u with a fix!

Amr got a reaction from South Africa C4 user in Chowmain - Bond Bridge controls Somfy Shades, RF Ceiling Fans, Fireplaces and more!
The best thing to open a ticket with Chowmain, they are pretty responsive and will fix u up, I have no issues with bond on my side.

Amr reacted to Ram Siva in Finite Labs - Home Connect for Apple Home
This is excellent. In the next few weeks, I will share some unique setups we have done with this driver.
We explored the varietas driver in the past but as the previous posts stated above, much more limited vs this new finite labs driver.
Ram
Symmetron

Amr got a reaction from cnicholson in Finite Labs - Home Connect for Apple Home
cnicholson, answers to ur questions:
- FL doesn’t work with child drivers; I consider this better for simplicity of setup, not sure even with the other driver I can use this for firing commands without adding room name first, but I think this can be done from home app itself, I didn’t need it but Derek might jump in and help with this
- Yes

Amr got a reaction from cnicholson in Finite Labs - Home Connect for Apple Home
I will try to share my views for FL vs DTI’s driver:
- HomeConnect is much cleaner and easier to handle
- Your dealer will love it! it’s a single driver vs DTI many sub-drivers to install and it does everything for him/you!
- It connects to your HB setup and installs the Plug-In, add enough bridges (limitation of Apple HK of 150 devices per bridge) and give you the whole thing in much less time
- Easier to add/remove end devices, etc
- Supports more sensors and device types than DTI’s
- Watch and Listen activities with volume control, DTI’s support Watch only with no volume control
- Supports Apple Native Dynamic Lighting, DTI does not
- Supports virtual switches and buttons
In a nutshell It will give you full control of entire C4 devices into Home App, so if you have Lutron integrated into C4 it will give you this ability if not then u need to find a plug in for Lutron into HB, it will control it from Home App only and you will not control it from C4, same goes for Hayward and DSC.

Amr got a reaction from Neo1738 in DST settings
Well I spent good $55k on C4 gear till date and I want the best out of it! For sure they can fix it some how, may be they can use a better service for DST, something that understands all these complexities like my Apple iPhone, iPad, iWatch for example!

Amr got a reaction from South Africa C4 user in DLNA driver New Computer not seeing music
Hello, you realize that this is a one year old post, in addition the issue was fixed also one year ago?

Amr reacted to Olichops in Intercoms Now Dead
Thanks Amr, I now have the intercoms back online after a reboot of the ea1s also. The original issue remains with the auto answer function, some times it work and other times it will not connect. If I set it the auto answer off the intercom calls always rings.

Amr got a reaction from c4toys in Default weather app has stopped working
I’m just warning that without any knowledge ComposerHE can be a killer, as u can easily break your entire system without even knowing and it will cost you to fix it, so please get yourself acquainted with the system before touching anything!

Amr got a reaction from C4 User in Whole system shutdown after Halo!
No, not necessarily true, some leave what they have for ages without upgrades as long as they don’t change their behavior or asking for more, “if ain’t broke, don’t touch”
The rapid advancement we are living are pushing these boundaries all the time, but it’s a choice u can make, u can stay where u r and don’t update!

Amr got a reaction from South Africa C4 user in Whole system shutdown after Halo!
U r shooting in the dark here, obviously something screwed ur setup, u need a remote dealer to login to your system and see what’s wrong, or u wait for your dealer try fixing this, hope he have a copy of your project for an easy restore.
Sorry for your troubles, but pls educate yourself before touching the system, there is a reason why C4 and most HA companies made this dealerships business model.
In a nutshell something screwed up ur network setup, u obviously have Panelized Lighting, and an audio distribution, if nothing works then it’s a network issue, u deleted something or by coincidence ur router is off, u also restored an old backup so it’s a mess really.

Amr reacted to msgreenf in Bluesound not showing up
deleted blusound player driver, reset it up and we good!
Looks like there was a new update on 4/19 - maybe that had a little upgrade quirk
-
Amr reacted to SpencerT in Bluesound not showing up
You can update each of the drivers yourself in HE (it's how I do it). Composer never prompts me with a bluos update.
3.2 works fine for me.
-
Amr reacted to Cyknight in Bluesound not showing up
BluSound develops those drivers themselves (or outsource it, but it's not done by Control4 at least). Composer only checks the native database (just like driver central and others only check their own), so there wouldn't be any way for it to know until updated drivers get pushed out. They do, but it's usually quite delayed before they send them/before it goes through certification.
To be clear, I have multiple sites running this version of the driver, non of them have issues - That said I did have an issue at two of these sites where the devices weren't showing properly when we added zones, and it was fixed by ensuring a matched version as per above mention

Amr got a reaction from South Africa C4 user in OS 3.3.3
Alright, I love bug fixing, I hate burger but that’s a “side” menu 😃
“The Control4 Smart Home OS 3.3.3 is a maintenance release that mainly supports numerous bug fixes found in our previous releases. This OS will also set the stage for the new fly out menu and upcoming product releases happening this year. CORE Lite is coming soon. Stay tuned for more information on product availability and release dates”

Dame it and they changed the entire controller without really looking into this simple thing!? Those Agents needs training fast!

Amr got a reaction from timelinex in Gate sensor
I understand your frustration with the DS, I had zero issues with it in OS2 Days, for the DS2 mini; as I have enough outdoor lighting; I’m also happy with it in OS3 era.
It’s not how good it looks, it’s how long it will withstand the harsh environment it’s installed @, in my country nothing of the fancy stuff lives like the DS, it’s 5+ yrs and only removed to upgrade to OS3! So sturdy and yes endurance matters to me the most! You can pick on C4 pitfalls but it’s just my experience and I stay away of troubled gears anyways!
