Well a remote dealer cannot help run wires, install wall plates, test wires, etc.
You can get some simple basic Ethernet testing devices off amazon and test each wire.  On the back of the 24 port switch the cables dont seem labeled.  Example - the cable going into port 17, do you know what room and which jack on the wall that powers?
the troubleshooting you can kind of do on your own if you are up for the challenge.  It’s not rocket science with some cheap sub $100 tools.  To me, if someone has dozens of Ethernet runs in the house, these testing tools are almost a required tool like a hammer and screwdriver to have in your house.
This is what I have and it has helped me diagnose issues.  It could be as simple as the wall jack isnt even hooked up to anything, or maybe they didnt crimp the ends well and 1-2 wires are twisted, or maybe something like a mouse eat through the wire in the wall, who knows, but testing kits help

I think I see what causes this error.  It will be addressed in driver version 7 in a few days.

TriadOne is your best option here, u can use it as a C4 zone in your 9th zone regardless of its location, it will join any other zone and it’s seamless C4 experience!
All you need is power and you are up and running, it has LAN and WiFi as well, just hook up your speakers pair to it and that’s it, I have 7 Zones, 4 covered by a 4x4 Matrix and 3xTriadOne’s

Just to update. Driver is currently working with the tvOS17 dev release. As mentioned above all that really means is it works with this current beta dev release as things can change in subsequent beta's, but it's a good start!

You should try IRUSB, it has a free driver and work flawlessly with any android box, it’s not cheap but just works and am using it since many years now, I don’t use it with the Telus but someone should try it!

You'd need to poke a port forward through to your driver port to allow outside control, but since I am including security as part of this interface, it's reasonably safe to do so.  You're correct, it won't be able to control the other HA system, but you will get full control of C4 and can get direct feedback via callback URL.

Have any of you found yourself wanting to integrate Control4 with other home automation systems or custom code, but don't know how to start with driver development?  I have expanded on my HomeKit driver to provide a basic HTTP API for controlling Control4 systems from anywhere, via any system.  With a little software knowledge, you can control an ever expanding list of devices from anywhere you can call a web URL!

LOL.  I have over 20 zones.  (Oops, I lied, I have one zone that got abandoned after putting in some concrete, and one is a dedicated garden zone that I'm not currently using, because the chicken coop is there now).
I have a 16 zone Rachio, with all zones being used, and 4 more flowerbed zones, that I control using a simple open source Raspberry Pi based sprinkler controller called Hydrosys.  It's fine for what it does (same thing every morning), but isn't nearly as flashy or easy to set up, and doesn't take weather into account.

Beside the Daikin; one of the best AC units in the market; You can go Sensibo route, it’s not fully two way but it works like a charm, never missed in controlling any of my 6 Split units that is integrated to C4, more over even if u use the original remote it sends its status back to C4. Chowmain driver is super as well and cost will be a fraction of other solutions.

BTW this driver doesn’t show the true status of a button so it’s deceiving and at the end it’s just a menu item to select instead of custom buttons menu, I will try to open a case with them to fix this as it’s really has no huge value and this would make Chowmain driver the only one that provides real feedback!

I have no issues with Neeo, really it’s stable since a long time when I discovered the Early Release Ubiquiti Firmware channel, since then it’s stable, I have the same setup but with some extra’s, I turned off everything and am a happy man since then!

What about HA pple, we did had some claims HomeAssistant is much better than Control4 a while back, join the crowed please!

Omada was pure shit for me. I dumbed it for UniFi!

Control4 doesn’t either but this forum represents the 1% that likes to tweak and the 1% that had poor dealer setups to begin with.

The Core/Halo stuff are full of bugs, will take sometimes to stabilize, don’t let frustration mount and control your decision, live with half functionalities for now until they iron it out, am sure it’s a focus matter for C4, just be patient …

In all previous projects I would add the apple bridge driver and configure it. Then add the Apple TV driver and can figure it. And now you have to add them simultaneously

We got this fixed last night and it was 100% my fault. I learned something new yesterday but this is not how I have done any other Apple TV drivers. But now I know a new procedure for doing this

That pic unfortunately isn't accurate for the newest 2022 generation.  Its directly above the green dot, the emitter is almost flush with the top when turned sideways.

i use Tailscale as well. rasberrypi running dietpi and tailscale has been rock solid.

HYG: On a Windows PC/Laptop:

1)Install Rockchip_DriverAssitant_v5.1.1
2)Install RKDevTool_Release_v2.79
3)In RKDevTool open config file change language to 2, [Language] Selected=2, save file
4)Grap a Data Micro USB Cable, not power one, make sure of this to have successful flashing
5)Open RKDevTool, connect your T3 screen USB to computer while putting it in Flash Mode, for TT press “Power” with “Volume up” while plugging in the USB, for wall I think u press “Reset” while plugging in the USB to laptop or PC
6)It should show one device connected!
7)U go to Upgrade firmware tab, Use "Firmware" to load the image, then "Upgrade" to write the image to T3
8]It should show progress, wait till its 100% complete, and in the screen if all good it will say all is good, now the screen will be rebooted and u have ur T3 back!
9)If you keep getting "Match device type failed, stop running!" try pressing the switch button first in the tool then hit upgrade
10)Update/Downgrade to your latest OS3 release!
