Am currently running the HDbase T version, 7 HDbaseT receivers + HDMI out, to my surprise it’s working well with serial driver, I think there is also an IP version (serial over IP), the black level is very decent and it delivers 4K! Am running Cat 6 BTW.

It’s super faster now I can confirm, even on remote 4G connection, improved by 2-3 seconds at least, great 😊 really, am happy the extra $20 comes handy and to a very good use 🤣 pls take my money 😅

As a mobile dev that works for Snap One (Control4) one of the duties we perform is to look on the forums for issues being reported on the mobile platform. If you would like your issue to be noticed you can help out by creating your title in a manner that helps us identify the post as one that's in need of some help/troubleshooting for the mobile apps. The posts that catch our eye are ones that are in the Troubleshooting and bugs discussion board. I propose you start your title first with the platform you're having an issue with then the feature or component that doesn't seem to be working correctly. 
Example Titles
iOS: Intercom not working on ..... iOS: Camera does not stream when (remote/local) etc Android: Now Playing doesn't..... Another thing we will always ask you when trying to support you is what is your director version and app version. It's helpful if you can already include that in the description of your post along with the steps you follow to cause the issue. Once we see your post we'll reach out to let you know we are creating a ticket and ask you to PM your email so we can work with you directly on the issue. We would also most likely ask for your application logs at this point in the direct communcation.

You should see improvements across the board especially for remote connection times, the updated version to look for is 322.18 or above.  When connecting over 4Sight look for the lightning bolt to know you connected through the new Lightning servers, but be aware that these remote speed improvements only work with the newer OS 3 builds so it may require an OS update to get the speed improvements if your system is running an outdated OS.

Here is a video of me connecting over 4Sight on a solid Wi-Fi connection averaging 2-3 seconds to be fully connected.

No you can’t, I have an instant announcement playing through my zones speakers with a 🔔 press, there are several ways really to get this done without a screen or speakers:
-Axxess Zigbee Plug in Door chime; only caveat is incredibly expensive and yes I consider $185 expensive, https://www.axxind.com/smarthome/plug-in-chime/

- Use Amazon WiFi chime, pretty cheap around $25~$40 but u need to write ur own driver for it to work and use undocumented API’s.
 

Factory resetting (put on dock). While holding volume up put pin into upper right reset hole, keep holding volume up until c4 with exclamation point shows, it will say erasing) then redo everything…worked for me on 2 bricked screens. Key part is to work it has to be on the dock w power

I also use Fully on 15 devices I have, as I couldn’t afforded the ridicules price of the T3, I had rolled out Visio 6” Tablets as a cheap $50 alternatives, all running C4 app all have Intercom app as well, all of them running Fully!

Not sure how committed down the ipad path you are, but I'm doing something similar with android tablets and figured I'd share just in case you were looking for other ideas.
I have (5) Samsung a7 and a8 tablets running kiosk software to the c4 app (cheap tablets, nothing fancy).
My favorite part is using them as replacements for bulky indoor cameras to stream back to my nvr 24x7 (with audio). It just runs in the background, doesn't interfere with usage. Macrodroid to dim and brighten the screens at certain times of the day and night (and to help with some basic tablet management). Screensaver after 5 minutes.
In android, there is a setting to allow the batteries to only charge to 85% and another to disable fast charging. I'm using 24v passive Poe into a small buck converter to essentially just trickle charge the tablets. I have the injectors on a kasa power strip in my AV closet timed to charge for 4 hours, discharge for 4 hours.
Using inexpensive 3d printed mounts. Working on color match painting one right now before we deploy a few more. 

Yes, C4 discussion is irrelevant, company as a whole is not doing well, like many other vendors, I hope they survive those years 22 will be another tough year, hopefully by 23 they would pickup again and show profitability.

$1,200 for a remote? We have the Neeo’s at half of this price, am not really sure how they are planning to make money out of this? With this price I don’t think they can grow more than one remote per house hold, also u need a dealer to install it for u!?

I have a great experience with them, they have a great customer service and they added a service for me that was not supported before in less than 48 hours from my request.

AppleTV = IR integration, period. IP doesn't add any benefit anyway. Use an IR driver and it'll work just fine.
Android TV is likely available, and the above mentioned driver is excellent.
Best integration is probably Roku, but as per above post I can't comment on availability.

I don't use Apple Watch to do a lot, rather I used Home app to do whatever I want with C4, not everything of course but most stuff can be done from Home App on phone and watch as well!

Not only does the install base for C4 of iPhone vs Android likely lean toward Apple, it becomes really damning for general population of smartwatches: 
2021 Market Share:

Huawei: 8.4%
Samsung: 8%
iMoo: 5.1%
Fitbit: 4.2%
Other: 40.8%
...with the 40.8% being mostly glorified fitness trackers and not true Android watches
