    As a mobile dev that works for Snap One (Control4) one of the duties we perform is to look on the forums for issues being reported on the mobile platform. If you would like your issue to be noticed you can help out by creating your title in a manner that helps us identify the post as one that's in need of some help/troubleshooting for the mobile apps. The posts that catch our eye are ones that are in the Troubleshooting and bugs discussion board. I propose you start your title first with the platform you're having an issue with then the feature or component that doesn't seem to be working correctly. 
    Example Titles
    iOS: Intercom not working on ..... iOS: Camera does not stream when (remote/local) etc Android: Now Playing doesn't..... Another thing we will always ask you when trying to support you is what is your director version and app version. It's helpful if you can already include that in the description of your post along with the steps you follow to cause the issue. Once we see your post we'll reach out to let you know we are creating a ticket and ask you to PM your email so we can work with you directly on the issue. We would also most likely ask for your application logs at this point in the direct communcation.
    So recap
    Post in Troubleshooting/Bugs Include Platform(iOS/Android/etc) in the title along with feature or component that is the issue Include app and director version in the body as well as the steps your following to produce the issue

    It's a fair question, but I'm not sure it will even be affected. You aren't actually 'signing into' the google account with the email notification - you're just signing into the SMTP server to send an email.
    Similar to using Outlook to send/receive gmail. If no update to outlook is needed, I would expect it likely this setup won't need anything either.

    Sat at the airport waiting to go on my holidays and just checked ~we are up and running - looks like we are using a oldish back up - however 
    Brilliant job.  @Crustyloafer.

    Morning Everyone!  Dan and I have been talking and we would like to make the forums more productive and easier to use.  We have a few ideas and you will see a few things changing.
    So far:
    1) You can enable 2FA
    2) You can delete attachments you upload now (Thanks @Darin, C4 PM UI for calling this out)
    3) A few tweaks to make attachments easier
    4) Added new sub forum for Voice Control
    5) moved posts to right categories
    6) Gif's are now enabled

    We plan to:
    1) Clean up the for Sale area
    2) reorganize the topics
     
    We would like your input.  Do you hate the ads?  We are going to look to take donations and move you to a tier with no ad's based on being a supporter!  
    Please put your ideas to this thread and we will evaluate them and go from there!

    Not mounted. They are all used like tabletops. I’m really invested into the whole Apple ecosystem. Heavy user of Apple Music, and I have a few paid for lighting apps like Thorlight that I really like. That’s about the only reasons. 
     
    Also one less thing to teach the wife, which is an added bonus.

    The OS 3.2.4 release is to support the official release of Multi-Display Manager (which went into a public beta with OS 3.2.3) and address bugs.

    This is a good point.  It is unlikely that all dealers make this clear, and by "making it clear" it would have to be in some paperwork the end customer agrees to and/or signs.  Otherwise actually enforcing these policies (by removing the end users access to the driver) is legally shaky at best.
    To be enforceable, there needs to be a EULA attached for the customer detailing this policy.  
    Otherwise, just ditch the policy and always make sure the end customer has access to the driver, which is the more customer friendly approach.  IE, if the original dealer is unresponsive proactively issue a new license.  Path of least resistance....
    Yes, as a vendor the dealer ARE our customers.  However, the end customer is actually the one who is paying (via the dealer) for the driver.  Both parties need to be served.

    Most disagree - This brings up issues about ownership  
    Rolex is bought from a dealer - but you can take it back to any dealer for a warranty repair and if you sell it to a other person - The Warranty will be transfer to that person - The Rolex owner is a end user

    Make that one more recommendation for Muj!! He’s awesome and can do just about anything you need remotely.  We had a really bad initial install and I couldn’t wait to dump the original dealer. I connected with Muj and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Before you give up on Control4, I would give a remote dealer from this forum the opportunity to see what they can do. I was nervous at first but once we started the process I have never looked back!
