In the mockupancy driver you pick what you want to record and therefore playback
so just leave off your blinds and dont select them
I have exterior lights that go on at dusk and off +/- 15 mins from 11pm.  I dont have those lights selected in mockupancy because if I am home, or away, those lights have their own schedule.  That is an apples to apples comparison for you

I know it’s always a back and forth debate, like those that have already responded, but I love having video distribution in my home. A few friends of mine that just started with their systems also went the video distribution route. Nothing wrong with streaming boxes everywhere or Smart TVs, but I really like having everything centralized in one location. I have 11 TVs on a matrix with 7 TVs in my basement setup like a sports bar. Swapping sources between TVs and mirroring screens is great.

I never really tweaked it right.  And my heated element is broken and my electrician has ignored me for 8 months.  Luckily today we got our first snow, and only 3'', so I dealt with it.

exactly my point.  TCL or other.  maybe I wasn't clear on that, but I was just saying its a drawback of the Roku TV Driver (Hisense, TCL, etc)

Saw that too but that is local at each location.  Cool idea, but that can get very expensive fast.  I am looking for something to monitor the whole house for small leaks in a pipe, or a pipe burst.  With that smart water assistant by phyn i believe it just monitors that specific feed so if you set it up on a sink it monitors that sink but not the rest of the house
My StreamLabs will monitor the entire house, as will Moen or the more expensive Phyn device.

I'd suggest the Moen piece as well - hard to get your hands on though.
And I would say you HOPE it's a waste of money - much like you hope having insurance is a waste of money...

going to give the C4 v2 a shot.  its 2x the price, but can work with the wired sensor, can do all programming/scheduling, etc.  The other ones lasted me ~9 years through 2 rounds of heavy construction in the house so I cannot really complain.

You meantion an EA1 but then audio components.  How many audio streams you planning on and from what source(s)?
Ebay is a source, as is this forum a well (There is a buy and sell sub section on here).  Remote dealers from this site would likely install used equipment for you, a local dealer, maybe 1-2 pieces but likely not an entire system.
Personally I wouldn't go too far back, EA1 is already 1 generation back on controllers (the new ones are called the CORE series).  The model of amp + matrix prior are known to have power issues and would already been 3-5+ years old if not older.  As another response said, there are other brands if you want to shop.  The Chime even new is half the price of the older "DS2 version 2" so nothing older is cheaper unless you find a DS2 used.  I am not sure if Doorbird is available in AUS but it could be a cheaper option though require a 3rd party driver.  Smart locks are what they are - no real older models but you can always look for used ones.  You could get a T3 tablet versus a T4 table and on the used market maybe save a few bucks.

Great design.  I could see myself getting my hands on one of these for my main viewing area.

This - C4 has a toll free # (at least in the US) and there is a customer advocacy group and if they know of issues with dealers they could remove their licenses and also give you credits towards hiring another dealer to finish off the job.

Just letting everyone know that I am now a bond dealer and can sell Bond Pro's as well as Sidekicks! Pretty neat stuff and works super with the Chowmain drivers!

@DLiteThink he said the new company he called didnt work/know that hardware so there would be billable hours trying to "figure it out" and it could get expensive.
Some may laugh at that, others may agree, I guess it depends on the skill/experience of the company doing the take over.  Resetting everything may also conflict with Control4 and all the IP addresses so then you are having to re-do potentially stuff in C4.  It can add up I gather based on size/scope.

I am wondering if that is the issue as I was removing 1 switch and having to move some wires around, maybe I plugged something into the other switch when I didn't mean to.  that is what happens when you have 100's of non labeled wires 🙂

How does moving from 200 up/down to 1Gig change your experience on an iPhone, other than looking better on a Speedtest?  Watching Netflix uses 15 Mbps for 4K video.  Maybe if you are downloading lots of songs onto your phone or downloading video from Netflix or other streaming services.  But most people just stream on demand these days and 200 is more than enough for that. 
Are you sure it is worth spending a few thousand to get faster Wifi that may not really improve your actual experience?
